I wish Microsoft, EA, Blizzard and other companies will just fully support Steam instead of trying to compete. Having to use Steam, GFWL+Marketplace & now Origin just because of exclusivity? For example you have to use Origin for the digital copy of The Old Republic... Having to use 4 - 5 different programs because I prefer playing my games on PC... fail.
I usually can resist commenting, but this article makes me sick.
Anyways... as a fan of games, I want to play the very best version of the game available. Majority of multi platform games look a generation ahead of the consoles on PC, especially DX11 enabled games.
BUT YA KNOW, there are PC gamers who own 1-3 consoles. Like myself, I have my PS3 for its plethora of exclusives like Uncharted, LBP, GOW, etc etc etc. I only buy like 1-3 games a year on 360, but...
Dwayne "Kratos" Johnson.
PS3...
Longer lasting... phat has more curves, disc slot opener is sensitive to the touch...
Thats going too far seeing how Conviction, Alan Wake and FFXIII came out this year.
I think Reach is a solid game, most fun I have had with Halo since Xbox 1. I haven't cared about Halo on 360 be it Halo 3 or ODST but I enjoyed Reach much more than both.
Overall, B+.
Why? I've had plenty of more fun campaign wise with MW1, MW2, and Killzone 2. I've also had plenty of more fun online with Battlefield BC2 and MW1+2 in comparison to ...
As a gamer I've played a lot of betas and GT5: Prologue felt like a very fleshed out beta, thats essentially what it is. I wouldn't call it a demo though thats going way too far.
Edit: And I know what a Prologue is child. The GT fan in me simply just couldn't wait until Fall of 2010. Oh well.
Think this is bad? Well it is indeed but what I find it funny is that I and millions of others bought GT5: Prologue which basically felt like a $40 beta.
I should have just rented it :(
No way in hell I'd play this on a console compared to a gaming rig.
BUT! If they choose to support the PS3, this could be a weapon against WoW, since Blizzard won't let their games see the light of day on consoles. It's cool though, PC needs some damn exclusives.
Either way, I'm a fan of GW, and if bringing it to consoles helps in their fight against WoW, I welcome it.
Can't wait to play this on my PC.
That comment was amazing, worthy of being posted elsewhere outside of n4g's user base.
Bu bu but but PC gaming is dead. Teh teh teh piracy!!!
I'm glad to hear that it's selling well.
No Mastodon? No High On Fire. Uhh ok.
There are 3-4 yr old Core 2 Duo machines with 4GB's of RAM and an 8800gtx still maxing out today's games WITH EASE.
I built a Core i7 based machine late 2008. I don't see the 6GB's of RAM or the Core i7 getting anywhere near maxed out any time soon.
Now the video card I chose was the GTX260. Yes I replaced it with a 285 via EVGA's step up. But regardless, the 260 can run any of todays games maxed out smoothly at HD resolutions.

That is so true, this old lady ripped one right in front of me, it smelled like expired hot sauce...
13 hrs, back in highschool Guild Wars, last winter break Demon's Souls.
I play regular on the mouse inverted with sticks.
It's just that it makes sense... look at a film with a pilot struggling to fly upward... when they pull downward the pilot is trying to go up correct? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that makes perfect sense to me.
A mouse on the other hand is resting on a flat surface, it's not something that sticks out at you that you pull up and down on lol ha ha...
I'm happy to say I platinum'd Demon's Souls. It isn't because of skill or anything, it was just sheer patience because of HOW MUCH I loved the game.
I just gave up on Wipeout lol, hell no never! Nope, nuh uh >_<
At the very end the author says Capcom should watch their back Dead Space 2 is looking better everyday.
Uhhh... Dead Space 1 is even better than RE5. Without co-op RE5 is not a must play, its just a decent game with crappy controls. Though RE fans will disagree, I don't care, a lot of RE fans can be pretty biased anyways :)
"Sony's VP of worldwide studios has revealed that the firm's 'existing franchises' are to get PS3 TROPHY support this year."
We all know how that went... I hope they make it happen this time, I'd love to play Heavy Rain with motion controls.
I built a PC back when Fallout 3 released. I don't have to upgrade to run BF3 at high settings. I probably will if I want to max out the game though. But to enjoy this game at high settings I don't need to upgrade.
Core i7 920
GTX 285
12GB of RAM (I started with 6GB)
