The game is not broken. It's disappointing if you expect it to be revolutionary, but it's not broken. I enjoyed it, but it's probably the worst game ever made by Remedy (Max Payne 1 > Max Payne 2 > Alan Wake > Quantum Break).
Come on dude, I completed the game. It's absolutely not bad (this people giving it 4s don't understand shit imo), but it's not revolutionary. Good ideas, but the execution is poor. You get new powers in the first 2 acts and a half and then it's pretty much the same stuff for the rest of the game. No new powers, no new weapons, almost no new enemies for 50% of the game. How is that revolutionary? And the damn TV show, god, that was just boring and useless. Why not making it par...
Well, the game is done, but we don't know if there's going to be a day one patch. A lot of people will be working on the game until it launches and a part of them will keep working on it for the future DLCs and to maintain the online component of the game.
About the other teams, I do agree TLOU2 will not be their next big title, I just called it the TLOU team because that's the game that came out of it last time (the production was started while U3 was still being...
Well, we already had an Uncharted not made by Naughty Dog and it was pretty amazing. Uncharted: Golden Abyss for PS Vita was made by Sony Bend and it was a great entry for the series.
Nope, that's called "a new team". ND has apparently 2 big teams, the Uncharted one and the (let's call it) Last of Us one, plus other smaller teams. Of course at the moment the effort is concentrated on U4, but with the game being gold, a lot of people will switch to the other team, while a small part will start working on a new IP. Or Crash Bandicoot. (you wish).
Almost completed it and I am enjoying it most than I thought. Unfortunately, what I feared the most ended up being true. The idea of the TV show that explains the story from another point of view is good, putting the episodes between game chapters is Really bad.
Worth a try, yes, but nothing as groundbreaking as Until Dawn.
I wish they had scrapped the TV show part and focused a little more on the game itself. It's a good game, I wouldn't give it more...
What, same day as Destiny's new update? I see what they did there.
And magically everyone appears to miss this point. I don't want frigging Killzone or Infamous, I don't think Sony should give them for free, especially if you can find them for 10$!
Let's say sometimes exclusive games get over-hyped. I am still buying the game, I'm pretty sure both story and gameplay will be really good, but I was pretty disappointed by Alan Wake (mostly because of its length and the differences with what was promised at first) so I'm trying to control my excitement. It does look pretty slick though, the 720p resolution shouldn't be a problem after all.
Also, I think Rockstar made an insanely good job with Max Payne 3, ev...
Buy an Xbox One and stop complaining. I have both, most of the times it' s exactly the same shit.
I don't agree with "give old AAA games", I prefer NEW indie games. For fuck's sake, they gave us Rocket League and people still are against Sony's policy.
You know what? I DON'T WANT The Order, Killzone, Infamous, Driveclub, Metal Gear Solid, Bloodborne. What's the point of giving me games I have already played? If you want a gam...
It was a great surprise for me. It was 500 yen (around 5 bucks) when I bought it, I was expecting a sub-par game and what I found was a true survival game. Think of it as Dead Island meets Dark Souls, because that is pretty much how the game works.
If you like hard games that challenge your skills, you're gonna love it. If you don't like having to get back your stuff if you die, you're gonna hate it.
It's a great game in my opinion, it's w...
"The experience is just as limited tho as it's still a singular experience for anyone in a room."
This is the point one friend of mine in particular makes, and he only plays cheap PC games and Nintendo 3DS.
It makes no sense, I live alone and play games by myself. When I lived with my family, I mostly played games alone, by myself. I sometimes have friends over and we play games together. That is 5% of my gaming life. Why would the singular expe...
@Unspoken
No, it would be 430-460$, you can find the PS Camer for as cheap as 30$ (or you could, guess it's going to be more expensive from now on, unless Sony decides to cut the price).
That is still 170-140$ less than Oculus. YOU DON'T NEED A PAIR OF PS MOVE CONTROLLERS TO USE IT. You can play any game with a normal controller, you are not forced to buy a PS4 one.
And please, everybody is pissed at Sony because they decided not to i...
You can't say "VR has been pushing itself as the future for 25 years", that is just wrong. Modern VR was born thanks to the Oculus Rift Kickstarter in 2012, it has almost nothing to do with the one we have seen in the 90s.
The technology is different, the power is different and, most important thing, the price is different.
AR it's been a gimmick so far, PSP/PSV/3DS have been doing it for a while but no one takes it seriously because you are limited by your surrounding.
The only company who's trying to make it big now is Nintendo with Pokémon Go, but you're supposed to play it on your smartphone and use it while walking outside. Not the kind of game you can play in your room.
VR, however, allows you to be immersed in a world, without having to get out of your ro...
I wish the average person on the internet was as smart as you are.
Vhampir
As much as I like Sony, you are right.
The reason why we are seeing Sony offering unknown, indie games and Microsoft going (sometimes, not always) for blockbuster is because the first one is outselling the second 2 to 1. I don't think PSplus/LiveGold games have the power to change this trend.
As much as we know that Sony listens to us, PS+ is mandatory to play online, no one is buying it mainly for the games anymore. I used to be ...
@TimelessDbz
I think he said your mom is an airship. Let me say that would be really cool if true.
...really can't wait for this game, loved the demo, the story and the characters look pretty cool.
It's like we're talking about apples and you are complaining that your dog has diarrhea.
FFXV is a RPG, MGSV is a TPS. A shooter should never be more than 20 hours long, an RPG should never be less than 30 (imo).
7.5 for me. A good game, good story, but absolutely nothing outstanding.
It's the Xbone's The Order 1886, a good game that fails to live up to the hype (minus the insane graphics of the PS4 exclusive), but it's still worth playing.
I think it's the worst game made by Remedy (Max Payne > Max Payne 2 > Alan Wake > Quantum Break). It's just my opinion, of course.
