The only explanation is that Sony doesnt expect it to sell so well in the US so they're giving them the smallest shipment, which is obviously to little for the demand and not enough to warrant a midnight launch

It may not make effect the length, but its just that bosses are usually used to split up the different segments/levels of the game and i doubt they are going to want long drawn out levels especially if they are going to have more enemies of screen since it will get repetitive a lot quicker
Also i doubt they would cut down on quality if they added more
I wonder if that "less bosses than GoW 2" means the game will be shorter as well

Couldnt agree more, Halo 3 will certainly go down in history as one of the most fun FPS's ever created.
Sure it doesnt have the realism like a lot of other shooters but thats what makes it so unique. I mean what other FPS can you be shot in the air by a gaint hammer while driving a kart and then be shot down by a laser? Thats right NONE!!

Well the PS3 needs to outsell the 360 in 2009 if it wants to stand a chance at coming in a close 3rd rather than a distant 3rd at the end of this gen

Why not compare Halo 3 (a FPS) its seems that Halo 3 was rated higher on all those sites so Halo 3 >> Killzone 2

I know Halo and Bungie are great but i dont think they're great enough to sell 1.8ml copies in 8hrs all by themselves
Halo3: ODST may be Bungie's last Halo game, but if im not mistaken hasnt MS formed a new studio specifically for Halo games which has the lead Halo designer in it along with a bunch of other big name devs so i doubt it will lose its spirit
Also even though Bungie created the game, it was MS who made it a global phenomenon
The fact that they were able to create such a franchise is an incredible achievement and they deserve to milk it as much as they want
Nintendo did it with mario, sure they have their crap spin-offs like Mario and Sonic but they still keep the main franchise at a high quality just look at Super Mario Galaxy its the highest rated exclusive this gen
The same will likely happen with Halo the main series will remain great but the spin-off will be crap (except Halo Wars) b...
