The funny thing is why did Sony go after Rockstar and Agent? Could it be they dont think their own studios are producing blockbuster selling games? Seems pretty hypocritical to me.
Not really surprising about the PSP considering how the PSPgo bombed and all the new models havnt been cracked, no one really wants one. After Birth by Sleep and FFXIII: Agito theres really nothing left.
And when you compare it to the sales of the DS (software and hardware) it just looks disastrous.
Not much they can do GT5 and GOW3 are their only heavy hitters, so expect pricecuts to maintain momentum.
360 in 2010 has the best lineup for a single console with a large variety of games throw in Natal and there is something for literally everyone.
The only problem for MS will be how do they top 2010...
So whos publishing this PS3 game? Sony? EA?

FFXIII is the same game it would have been if it was a PS3 exclusive.
To be honest Sony doesnt need the advertising, its going to sell more than the 360 regardless.
MS needs this since a lot of people still dont know its on 360. I believe this exclusivity is in the UK too since all the online ads are for the 360 and the bundle.
If everything continues as it is then the PS3 may outsell the 360 by 1ml, but not even Activision can predict whats coming.
The 360 could have a redesign, a Wii HD could be released and Sony might cut price again and these things would change everything.

Not really the PS3 was selling REALLY bad before now is just selling bad. Not being able to outsell your nearest competitor with not only a pricecut, but a redesign, massive ad campaign and big titles just is a fail pure and simple.
There are no shortages because if there were the 360 would have them too since the PS3 has never sold that much more than it in NA.

Pathetic attempt at damage control by Sony. Nintendo are always in short supply yet they alway manage to sell incredibly.
Sony are just having a hard time comprehending the fact that their price cut failed to have any real impact in NA.
I can see Halo:Reach getting loads of GOTY awards, since they arent only upping the graphics but the gameplay as well, while GOW3 is just better graphics and the first review confirms that fact.
Looking very epic, easily one of the biggest contenders for GOTY 2010 and will set the bar very high for other FPSs to follow.
