The fact is the 360/Wii are not on an even playing field with the PS3, they came from small installbases and are still selling extremely well.
Its not that surprising the PS3 sold more than MS did in previous years but the fact remains the 360 has still sold more. MS needed the headstart because of the fear of the PS2 installbase and it has worked wonders for them.
Sony isnt dominating as well as it did when it had the PS2 hence the reason for why the amount of ...
And thats only due to the success of the PS2. If the PS3 came from the same background as the 360 (with the original Xbox) it wouldnt be doing nearly as good as the 360 is now.
The fact is the 360 and Wii are doing the best due to the fact they have already surpassed their predecessors install bases while the PS3 isnt even close.
Apart from Sony/Nintendo I dont think a single developer has said anything but praise for Natal.
Its getting to the point that, it will be shocking if it fails.
No one with a Wii will buy one cause they will just be getting the same experience at least with Natal they will get something different so the Wii and Natal can co-exist.
Sony can only go after potential Wii owners rather than current ones so they wont get much of a boost if even anything.
Desperate times it seems, so sad.
And still it outsells the PS3, you guys are making the PS3 look worse with this lol
The 360 must cost peanuts to make considering the lack of bluray and wifi.
MS could probably cut the price by another $50 and still be making a profit.
WOW that is seriously close, those exclusive ads really paid off for MS.
Looks like Final Fantasy got a new home on Xbox.
Well MS own the publishing rights so it wont be going anywhere but the 360/PC. Plus Epic and MS relationship is too good for them to bring it over to the PS3.
The PS3 is to blame, if it wasnt so hard to develop for SE would have had more time to make more towns, the 360 has nothing to do with it.
Obviously its a bigger step anyone can see that, it gaming without a controller.
Move is just a side step of the Wii and slightly a bit backwards because all the "decent" games require 2 controllers to play.
Edit: I never said they invented it, they have taken Sonys simple eyetoy and made it so it can recognize you in 3D space, has speech recognition, can track multiple people and scan objects more than the eyetoy ever could.
Move is just a di...
Is there a reason why the PS3 has been missed out?
Cause im sure it has at least one game that sold better than Lips
I bet there wont be a Nintendo version of this
Looks amazing E3 should be interesting
Nintendo are probably laughing at Sony too, not only did they blatantly copy them they done a terrible job at it too.
No motion control in the nunchuk, a wireless nunchuk meaning more charging and not being able to have 4 players with a remote and analogue stick, not having everything together (need a cam, a remote and nunchuk, and the starter kit doesnt even include all of them), loads of games that rely on a single player to have TWO remotes etc
The idea was ob...
Its destined to fail is just a HD Wii, no Wii owner will want another Wii.
Sony should have tried to innovate like MS with Natal instead of directly copying the Wii
PS3+ starter kit + nunchck = $300 + $100 + $20 = $420
Wii + motion plus = $200 + $20 = $220
And considering that 80% of the games shown in that PSM trailer required 2 controllers it will be even more expensive so there is no way causal gamers will go for it instead of a Wii especially since to the untrained eye they look identical.
Its a 360 exclusive it should easily reach that goal in the 360s life cycle.
Plus with the Natal supports most hardcore gamers who buy it will likely want to try it out in Fable 3.
So lots of ports and no new exclusives.
At least for Natal every game will be a new exclusive title because of how unique it is.
Thats practically as bad as Natal but Natals main selling point isnt accuracy and MS have said it will only get better, nothing like that has been said by Sony.
They shouldnt be demoing it if its so far of from completion.
