Very True. Plenty more games. Fragile Dreams comes to mind. Little Kings Story, De Blob, and Rune Factory if that is your thing.
Edit: Madworld was tons of fun as well. FF Crystal Chronicles is a solid series imo even if it not numbered. I think crystal bearers is a hidden gem, The first Epic Mickey, and many Kirby games.

Other M has nothing to do with Metroid Prime. Other M is supposed to be a sequel to Super Metroid.
Metroid Prime was completed with Corruption.

Not always the case. Some teens are 16 and cannot legally purchase M rated games. I don't think CoD is bad at all for a 16 year old. The online play is a different story.
Some M rated titles are only M because they just passed the T mark by a tiny bit and no such thing as rated T+.
Anime games never have the greatest reviews. DBZ games only got decent reviews during the early ps2 days. The most recent Bleach game got killed in the reviews. The Naruto games do well. Not amazing, but much better than the others.
Anime style games are a different story, but games based on an actually anime do not usually do well.
They were built for the anime fans. Just look at critic scores, then user scores and it makes sense.

I agree. I loved FF 10, and i think the problem with rpgs started late last gen. Kingdom Hearts 2. What then? Nothing, then you get the shift in the industry. I think the problems started last gen as well, but not so far back to FF 10 like the writer states.
RPGs never had "hidden gems" before because the entire genre used to be a gem. I always wondered where they got the time to pop out all those great RPGs last gen.
I disagree with Fi, Daxter, and Tails.
Fi was pretty damn cool. She looked cool, she sounded cool when she moved-sounded like jingle bells- and at the end of the game it was really sad when she was going back into the sword. The song was sad and i grew to like her character over the many hours i put into the game.
I also happened to love the her voice as well. It was the Hylian language and it sounded damn cool.

Agreed. NSMBW was the first 2d mario game for a home console since the SNES. NSMBU will be realeasing in 2012. The wii one released in 2009.
Super Mario world 2 was the last 2d mario on a home console before the wii one came out 14 years later.
