Create some new human emotions and the cliche will go away. "serious female lead" Who would want the lead to be a weak minded and fragile character. These are just attitudes people have. I would much rather be able to relate to a certain character. Empowered and sexy female character, depressed characters, sheltered characters, good looking characters, and cheerful leaders are not going away.
Make Lego FPS games. Lego Halo would be an insta buy for me.

5 Super Mario games on a home console since super Mario 64. 5 games in 16 years is not what people call the same thing generation after generation. New Super Mario Bros Wii was the last 2D Mario game on a Home console since 1995. People really exaggerate the number of Super Mario Bros. games.
GTA4, and Skyrim. I ended up playing oblivion again and just dropped Skyrim. Reach is over rated. Halo 3 is much better.
Dead or Alive 5 and Assasin's Creed 3 deserve the hype.
well for the "games that blow everything else away" part. I would not expect a 3D mario for a while. mario galaxy 2 is less than 2 years old, and no new Zelda for a while seeing as how Skyward Sword just released in November. I hope Retro is making a Metroid or Star Fox, but not expecting 3D mario or a Zelda game for a while.
nothing will. The ps2,DS, and Wii sales are not normal when you compare them to the competition. Won't see sales like these consoles anymore from anyone.

Why would i take the word of a Nintendo hater for Nintendo stuff? Who would you listen to for Nintendo info? You can't take Nintendo's word since you don't take the word of fans seriously, and no idiot would take the word of someone who does not like Nintendo. Maybe Sony would be a better source for all things good about Nintendo.

@newmonday. Yup! $200 is my sweet spot for handheld gaming, and as you said, for many other as well. It is incredible really. $250 is too much, but i am willing to wait and wait for a simple 50 dollar price drop. If i am going to spend 200 then i can spend 250, but i won't lol. You can have as many exclusives as you want, but give me a reason to think i can afford the machine.
