Some people are just crazy and sometimes there's no explanation for it. Some people are just crazy.
...but I really, really suck at them. FPS that are real fast are just that, too fast for me. And I usually don't have the time to invest in getting good to play against most people online. So most games, I play some online, get my ass handed to me, and usually just go back and play the single player game, or quit playing it altogether.
I wanted to try UT3 because it looks amazing and has so many options, but it sounds like it's way too fast-paced for me.

I know three people who own Wii's. None of them have used theirs since the end of summer. They all either play PS3 or X-Box now because they both have better choices in games for a more adult audience.

One question thogh, aren't all those cars, etc. already in NFS? A friend here at work who has the game says this is already in the game. So what's the point of these add-ons?

I like having options in what console I want to purchase. I'd hate to be forced to use just one system, regardless of who makes it. This is one of the greatest times in history to be a gamer. There are so many great games for both Sony and X-Box. (I could care less about the Wii)

...Assassin's Creed wouldn't have received so much attention. This game has been so over-hyped, it's sickening. I bought it last week just to see what all the fuss was about, gotten maybe halfway through, and I'm bored of it already. It's too repetitive and doesn't live up to all the hype it's been given, in my opinion.
I'm not saying it's a bad game. But it is getting better reviews and more attention than I think it deserves.

Regardless of what score any reviewer gives this game, I've played it and I love it. Like every game ever made, there are flaws to be found. But this is the most beautiful game I personally have ever seen. It is unlike anything I've ever experienced playing a video game. The story is gripping and leaves you wanting more. The soundtrack is perfectly balanced for each level or situation you are in. The combat, while difficult at times, is well done and fits the game well.

...this game sucks. I bought it to see what all the hype was about and this is basically just a pile of garbage. I knew the graphics would be last-gen, but they're just total crap. Once you pull off a dozen or so executions, the novelty wears off and you're left with nothing to make you want to continue the game.
Don't waste your time or money.
I'll be trading it in with some other games when I pick up Uncharted: Drake's Fortune later this month.
A good lightsaber simulator is probably the only thing I would buy a Wii for.
To those of you that want a ONE console(or one format) world, that is called a monopoly and it would suck for everyone. I personally love the fact that we have choices today and can choose between a PS3, X-Box, or Wii. If we had one console, regardless of who was making it, prices would be inflated, we would be stuck with whatever crap games they served us every month, and we would all be unhappy fairly quickly.

There are only a few games I've ever fully completed.
When you can afford to buy whatever game you want, when you want, you can afford to not finish every one. That's one advantage of being an adult with a good paying job.
Some of you will find this out when you grow up, get a job, and live on your own.
