Then add Mario Maker, which is also well integrated with online features.
I'd suggest trying Smash, Mario Kart 8 or Splatoon - all of which have robust online features.
F-Zero GX would be great. And if Gamecube titles featured offscreen play - like N64 does- even better. I would snap up loads of those titles.
especially considering the lack of retail content this autumn. It would be nice if that threw a load of great VC content up in the coming months.

It will take a little time, that’s for sure. The first game was hard as nails.
Was like a different world back then. You would get the occasional nugget through the grapevine but yep, you would wait for the bumper E3 editions of all the mags. Pages and pages of screens, so exciting!
