I just wondered who said the sales were ‘disappointing’. I know the share price has taken a hit but the game is broadly well reviewed and has been top of both charts for nearly a week. Not saying that’s not underperforming against some expectations perhaps, but by most measures that I can find it’s doing OK, despite concerns on price and connectivity.

Well - whatever their faults - they do may consistently good games. That certainly makes people care. And they’ve been cut throat since the mid-80s. Nothing new. And if they are the Disney of video games I don’t see how that’s a bad thing.

A good point. It's the games that make the show.
Last year's was great. Enjoyed every moment. And this year's will probably be great too. But I think something needs to change if it's to retain its place as the centrepiece of the calendar.
