replace "Toshiba" with "Microsoft";
replace "HD-DVD" with "video game console"; and
replace "yen" with "US dollars".
is there any word on whether this game will be playable over PSP via Remote Play??
maybe by the time he gets out, Microsoft will have a reliable system out on the market.
the only reason the 360 gets some "exclusive DLC" is because it won't fit on the Xbox DVD-ROM. fine 360 owners get to exclusively download it, but who's to say this content won't already be available on the PS3 BR-ROM, in non-downloadable form??
the fat guy from NES Ice Hockey! his slapshot was insane!
yeah - it's called IMPROVING upon a series. the people at Bungie may wanna look into that!!
How about as a brick?? With all of the bricked RROD Xbox 360s and these obsolete HD DVD Drives, we could build another Great Wall!!
the title should read "Philips Applies for a Patent on Video Game System With Throwable Screen".
Nothing (aside from a waste of money) would prevent Philips from also applying for a patent on a knock-off Wii system - it would just get shot down quickly at the WIPO, as could this patent application.
last gen, the GTA games kill so much time.
this gen, Oblivion is STILL killing time for me.... i guess you can call it A.D.D. becuase i'm so easily distracted from any primary storyline!!
"and now... the end is near, and so I face the final curtain.
my friend, I'll say it clear. I'll state my case, of which I'm certain":
2008 is the year of the PS3!
agreed - how is this news?
the console war is not about eliminating the competition. in every console generation, there is competition - but one system is declared "winning the war" by dominating its generation. unfortunately for xbox fans, xbox systems (original and 360) are developing a track record of a shorter life span during the generations. and based on the PS3 out-pacing the 360 in their respective first years, Microsoft will be force to rush another defective product out into the market while the PS3...
based on advertising space revenue for their site, i'm surprised GameStop did give Game of the Year honors to KANE & LYNCH!!
repeats your exact same post from comment 1.7??
(though it was much funnier in bold this time...)
did you catch Bungie's subtle shout-out to the PS3??
"...and we look forward to continuing that affiliation through ‘Halo’ and beyond."
AND BEYOND!!! as in, "PLAY B3YOND"!! such a clever slap-in-the-face right at the end Microsoft's own press release. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
I really don’t see how this is these "future games" you describe are novel. Nintendo already released a pressure-sensitive pad - the "Power Pad"... in 1989! Also, Sony already has games that use voice-commands to instruct NPCs - namely, the first SOCOM.
Under that line of reasoning – does anyone think that Microsoft is disappointed with their purchase of Bungie Studios in 2000 (…to prevent Halo from reaching PS2). Despite the fact that Bungie has “already gone stale” with the ever repeating Halo 1, 2, 3, …
This would be a phenomenal move on Sony’s part, albeit a wild rumor. And as Bungie Studios has decidedly proven - you really only need ONE franchise to be very successful. So all you “What else does R* got?” can stop as...
i thought she'ed fork over your allowance for that!
did you write the title of this "article" too?
the magazines and sites spend over two years building and building so much hype on a game like this that the pendulum has now swung back to the "anti-hype" slant. this is either the result of them having nothing left to talk about on the game or hedging their over-hyped articles from months ago.
either way, this is easily the most anticipated game for me. online co-op campaign is biggest selling point on Haze.
