*sarcastic eye-roll*
i think i'd have better luck defusing a nuclear explosive.
by the way, what the warranty's policy for the 360 after you open it up and apply rubbing alcohol and silver remover to the motherboard (let alone dismantling it completely)?
how is this news?!? ...its a forum post
i'm not saying EA is racist, or anything... but this is the first white guy on the cover since John Madden himself!
i wonder if they'll ever pick an non-retired white guy!!
[NOTE: i'm being sarcastic!]
this is one way to beat the curse... pick retired players!!
ask Shaun Alexander and Mike Vick if they believe in the Madden Curse.
MGS4, RFoM2, MS2 - will all do well.
also, i definitely think Haze will be a solid game, not a "system-selling exclusive" - but online co-op is huge. plus Free Radical has yet to disappoint. bottom line, that game will be alot of fun and worth the wait.
Killzone i'm not personally all that excited about. i'd take RFoM2 over that. but i'm sure there will be a demo to check out.
LBP is the biggest question mark. while it looks "ki...

Verdict: FLOP
there's also some whispers of ATL looking to snag Jeremy Shockey - that would be huge. i'm not sure on his attitude, but sitting out the entire Giants Super Bowl run might have humbled him a bit!
but it will definitely be a better season this year. the Turner/Norwood combo will be one of the better back feilds, they just need some blocking.
Joey finished fourth in the 2001 Heisman vote - but I definitely hear where your coming from. better examples of recent college winners/NFL busts would be Wuerfel, Weinke, Crouch, and (delete: Jason White) Ryan Leaf.
but one good thing to note about Ryan is that he played very well, with very little support, against very tough opponents. if he had a stud RB or a WR over 5'11, he would have performed much better in the ACC. i'd be very surprised if ATL passes on Ryan.

i spend hours swimming in the Pacific Ocean while playing GTA: San Andreas.
any hey, maybe when his bricked 360 returns from the repair shop this Fall, that DLC will be available for download!
i'll take a five minute install time over a 5 month wait...
sales from launch is the best way to compare the success of a console. and from their respective launch dates, the PS3 is matching the sales of the PS2. however, over the past couple months, the 360 is has begun to tail off.
projecting out the following "sales from launch chart" only points to greater success for PS3:
great game, great controller.
TG16, TGExpress, and the CD drive were released in the states, i have them. and i'm pretty sure the Jaguar was available too (...for about two months)
once you're in the store to buy the game and they get your $60, they don't care which system you buy it for. the only way they would ever mention the DLC would be to move unsold 360 copies when they're sold out of PS3 copies - i don't see that happening.
also remember that DLC = The End of retail stores, it's direct competition!
it's like saying, "Why doesn't my local record store advertise for 'exclusive iTunes tracks'" or "Why doesn't BlockBuster advertise for Pay-Per-View movies??".
the point of any "retail industry" is to provide the consumer the opportunity to purchase a manufacturer's product. now DLC provides consumers with this opportunity.
i registered on that crappy site just to publicly call him out
While I love these games, I couldn't agree more with the rest of your post - ESPECIALLY on achievements. This "feature" was designed for soulless losers desperately searching for any semblance of public recognition. The majority of the people that pride themselves on their achievements most likely haven’t received any other rewards since the Participation Trophies at fat camp were handed out.
Congrats kiddo, you maxed out all the achievements in SEGA Superstars Tenn...
this blog entry was from a MONTH AGO - its crazy how hard people search for fanboy ammunition on this site... pathetic

they sent them all to 3rd world countries... along with the "19-0 Patriots Super Bowl Championship" hats and t-shirts!!
