The one thing that has really puzzled me with live is that it is compulsary to pay if you want to play third party games online. I can kind of appreciate it with the first party games and maybe games that are published by microsoft.
Cant they allow silver members to play online third party games using their (already paid for) home connection that has nothing to do with microsoft, even if it means taking out the Live community features?

Hey, I've been wondering, since even 50GB might not be enough for games in the future, does anyone know if the soon to be released 100GB discs (and possibly 200GB) will be compatable for use on the PS3?

Well, going by your philosophy, 2009 isn't exactly loud for the 360 and Wii. I'm sure the are more than enough unannounced titles underway for all platforms.
I don't think most PS3 fans have believed vgchartz still isn't biast, even in the last few 'victorious' months (me included).
In my opinion the only thing vgchartz is good for is the long term general trends, in terms of consoles popularity increasing or decreasing. This doesn't mean it's correct for the specific sales ratios of the consoles in relation to each other.
It's good to see that vgchartz updated UK PS3 numbers by around 100k. I suppose this is a step in the right direction, even if there is probably a 1 million+ shortfall on the real worldwide numbers.

I suppose GTA is on of the few exceptions where cheats can make the game more fun (although I would always at least complete all the missions before using them).
