it's good to finally see MGS4 get some decent advertising in the UK: I've seen two ads tonight.
They're in a similar style to the movie-style trailer and last around 10 seconds. I definitely thing it can spark an interest in someone who has never heard of the game before. eg (to quote it) "there is only one man who can save the world".
First point complaining about the game being on PS3 = instant failure of the article.
It also complains about MGS4 being a GeOW clone.

I've been playing it all day and have just finished Act 2; it's most certainly one of the greatest games ever made.
Also, for anyone who hasn't played it yet, I can garantee that you will be very surprised by what happens at the start.

Unfortunately not me currently because my computer (family) is like 5 years old with some crappy Intel 64mb graphics card, with barely 512MB of RAM. I doubt my dad would upgrade or get a new one unless it brakes and even if I did have the money myself (spending on too many good PS3 games currently) then I wouldn't have a clue as to what new components would actually be compatable with the old.

After the promises of SCEE delivering things on time, this especially has been a disappointment to me after playing the demo on PSP months ago and making up my mind to get it when it comes out (on PS3 for the user-made levels)..

Are you referring to the picture with 'the end is near' sign or the one with the consoles?
Regardless of this, the findings were most likely only taken from a small demographic in a certain area. It's likely that in other places the story will be different because some areas have slightly different console preferences.
With the patch released so soon after release then wouldn't it make more sense to delay the game by a couple of weeks.
I know a couple of people with consoles but aren't online so isn't this making a mockery of this kind of customer?
Games should be finished before they're released, not after.

Regardless if they're fake or not, I personally would not want to take the chance of having the game ruined for me. These people do not belong on this website and I think most of the community would agree with me.
I urge others to continue reporting these people so hopefully the mods will see sense and ban them permanently. Unfortunately it's pretty much impossible to stop them from creating new accounts but hopefully the actions taken against them will be enough to stop peoples ...
