Anyone spent good time in this yet? I'm around level 34 now and been playing for probably around 8-9 hours.
It's brutal man. Brutal. I'm hoping NG2 goes to Backwards Compatible on XBO. (Skip NG3 it was done by a different team and its apparently pretty awful)
I'm the author and I think your comments are fair enough, but it's not that I am biased in any way, but to clarify, the show isn't perfect by any stretch but I found that as a whole, the game is ultimately worth it. It works as a package, with each element contributing to the overall experience rather than one carrying the whole thing.
Well my question is... Are there ever NOT Dinosaurs?
I posted this, site is down shortly with a hosting issue. Hopefully up soon, sorry!
Am I allowed to refer to Ryu from Ninja Gaiden as a weapon. That man was a weapon.
Is 2.5/5.0 supposed to mean something is average, decent or terrible these days?
Awesome, thanks! I know this site is clean but thought I saw other comments before saying something about it. I wonder what's going on with N4G then?
Anyone else getting weird Malware warnings clicking on links from N4G? Did I read somewhere that it's happening to lots of people?
The money is being put into the tournament because its a part of a marketing strategy, not due to good will. That's my outlook anyways. Also did you say this based on the article or are you only saying this based off of the article description?
I actually posted this up showing some of the bugs that I ran into, you get anything like that? http://pennyworthreviews.co...
Anyone else who played this experience a large amount of bugs? I got quite a lot but spoke to a few people who hadn't seen any in 20 hours of play.
Poster here: Anyone know what's up with an N4G runtime error that ultimately ends in the image being broken like above?
As the author, I can tell you that according to our perceived conversion scale for reviews (something that can be different for everyone), a 3.8/5.0 converts a little closer to the standard /10 scaled as more of an 8 - 8.5ish/10, rather than just doubling the score for a 7.6. Some sites and readers consider anything in the 7s as mediocre and only sale-worthy.
Reviews are weird.
Great piece! I think you raise a very valid point. I wish it was more feasible for studios to make short 10-15min horror games, that would be amazing!
To clarify, it's more of a comment on the pacing. A lot has changed in the formula, but this is not one of those elements. It retains its original focus on killing lots of things, as opposed to possibly trying to focus on more story elements by talking with many NPCs or spending more Time taking breaks for the action. Hope that clarifies a bit.
Really looking forward to playing the multiplayer. The Master Chief Collection was such a bummer to so many people due to its issues, and in countries like South Africa it had even bigger matchmaking issue, even until now it doesnt always work.
So very odd to see. Comments and heat but no approvals.
Im just ROYALLY struggling with the MyCareer mode, as no matter what in the heck I do, my player is incapable of sinking shots, it doesn't matter if its a 3, a 3 footer or a lay-up, my current FG % must be around 5% at best, I think I've sunk 3 shots in 4 games in the NBA!? Something has to be wrong, shots seem to go down fine in practice modes and if im playing with a franchise team in exhibition modes
I really hope this gets integrated into more PC games in future!
