In modern day writing arcade is used to explain that it's not simulation or realistic. In this context it's mostly upset fanboys trying to insult the rival SIM racer by calling it an arcade racer. A game like Forza isn't a true sim like sat iRacing but rather an accessible representation of a sim, and a nice new term has been coined for them as "simcade". I'm a huge Forza fan, lost count of how many hours I've put into it but in the end of course how good it is is subjective. For me I'm really happy a lot of folks are still having a great time with it, but after so much time spent in 6 a lot of the experience feels like a step backward. I'm really sad about the whole music situation in the game, the dynamic music just plain doesn't seem to work for races, it's just quiet with the occasional noise as you pass a speaker. ...
I'm really enjoying Project Cars 2 despite its many flaws. I think that they really have the opportunity to make a big push into this space by including more refinement and accessibility into PC3, assuming it happens. I still think that they were silly to release so close to Forza and GT, they should have spent a couple more months refining it and then releases it polished all on its own in maybe Feb or April 2018.

Anyone else that's played Forza 7, does the dynamic music while driving in races basically just not work for you either? Even in an electric car with music set to max, you sort of just hear it a bit now and then when passing the speakers, is that really what they intended... or a bug?
I'm really still just amazed at how much this game changed at around the halfway point, from needless roaming to just full blown Uncharted experience!
I cannot actually decide if OverWatch is the best or worst thing that's happened to me. It would be great on Switch, but I think I might also end up throwing my Switch.
I'm the one who made the image, I actually just realised that this thing would be badass with one of those OG Xbox "Duke" controllers that Hyperkin is making as well!
It truly is something to behold, the photo mode is impressive, but what's more impressive is just how good it looks when you snap just plain screenshots
