The article doesn't specifically mention xbox, its implied they don't do cross play at all and will somehow be "left behind" if they don't. They can't be left behind on something they do and have done for some time. Cross play is just a lame excuse for some people to attack So...

Well at the very least its implying that the genre is already full at essentially two games. There's plenty of room for more BR games they just need to be on the level of PUBG or especially Fortnite and that's not an easy task. Based on whats been shown so far from Radical Heights and taking Boss Key's recent failure into account it doesn't look promising, but hey you never know.

But for the record when it comes to putting out stellar games to play on a console you manufacture that your fanbase has invested in, in some cases twice by first buying xbone and then turning around and buying the x, then absolutely MS could benefit from being more like Sony.
I'd worry about it if I ever had trouble finding other people to play with but I never do. I don't understand why MS fans would want to play on Sony's network in the first place when all they ever do is hate on it and talk about how inferior it is to Microsoft's.
