man that game kicked my ass, i remember trying to play the first one when i was like 11 or 12 and i couldn't even get up the elavator.
See the difference is you may have wanted a HD gaming system YOU may have wanted a system that last ten years, and YOU may have wanted a supercomputer but the rest of the world is talking with their wallet and they DON'T want that so enough with that argument.
I also love how people on this site are always thinking their smarter or know more then industry tracking firms. They make millions of dollars a year to know what the perdictions for the industry are going to be.
Forza 2's cars look the same as the GTHD ones, byt GT wins the enviroment game. In the same respect GTHD was supose to be a PS3 so don't give me that, it had one car on it to.

But if you live in the world of $299 platforms...wow that's double the previous platform Sony asked me to buy back in 2000. I think the technology is far and away the thing that impresses me the most, and it's just so intuitive. The fact that I can pop in memory stick and load up a slideshow with pictures I just too...heck, I don't know how to make a slideshow on a PC, but I don't need to know how to do it on a PS3. And then I load up my Ludacris...

Hrmm your list has some titles that are just rumors.
NG 2 was last posted as a 360 exclusive and thats why we aren't getting black.
SO4 and KH3 both haven't been announced for any system yet, they could very well be on the PS3, but they could go multiplatform or go to the Wii.
Also DoA 5 hasn't been announced for any platform the makers just said they were making a PS3 game.

1. Crysis is a different kind of shooter, i am getting it, and its going to be amazing for what its built for. Which is a more realistic shooter, not in technical terms but in destruction and interacting with the enviroment.
Halo 3 on the other hand is built as a fun factor shooter with a more hollywood feel to it. Its going to have the better MP and it will most likely sell way more.

I believe the reason Sony just dominated the last two generations is because they never really had real competion, Sega would have been their rival but fell through, and Nintendo slipped up both times, and MS was new and made a lot of poor moves.
Now though the market is focused, Nintendo has a working strat and so does MS, in the name of one of the guys from the Resident Evil movie.

Hey I'd like to see everyone win this Gen, if the Wii PS3 and 360 were all even in sales you wouldn't hear a complaint from me. Right now I am looking for the 360 to get a God of War game, and more platformers even though they have B&K, and Crash coming

However The Pain you forgot one thing, with one price cut the 360 could take over.
The Core would go down to 200 making it cheaper then the Wii but still given Next Gen games
The Preium would be 300 making so close to Mass Market
the Elite would be 350, that means that there would be a 250 difference between the highest 360 and the PS3
