Update: Sony just tweeted its up
I'm not sure why people are mad over this? It's not worth getting bent out of shape over. The Xbone is still $50 more and don't even think that MS will not do the same.
We Canadians have been paying more compared to our neighbours to the south.

Not releasing one every year would be a good start.

Sorry fellas. I swear I thought I was commenting on the article posted about an add on to minimize the light bar on the DS4 controller. Damn iPad.
Does the light really bother people that much? I generally play with the lights on so maybe thats why it does not bother me. I agree though that an option to turn it off or have it turned off when not utilized by a game would be a nice option.
Not surprised. We Canucks always get things after our neighbours to the south if we get anything at all. Just look at The huge discrepancy between US and Canadian Netflix. Good things come to those who wait. We may not get it soon but at least we know that we'll get it eventually.
Bubbles to you. Well said but unfortunately the pointless comparison will continue.
"The real question lies within the gaming culture: have these companies demonstrated that they deserve this quite expensive blind trust from their fans?"
In the case of Sony? Yes! Sony has shown that they are willing to invest in publishing games that will not necessarily reach COD sales figures. I bought my PS4 for what Sony has in store and not for the now. For long time Playstation gamers, we know what were investing in. To those that jumped ship you're in fo...
I'm not even going to read the article. While a PS4's version of a game can look bad when ported over to PC. Thats just the developer. What's the point of this article other than getting the PS4 camp and PC camp at each other? C'mon now!!
You have the PS4 that only the HDD is upgradable and you have the PC that you can, depending on how deep your pocket get the best graphics card available. These PC vs. console articles are just idiotic.
That sucks.
Meh. It's a matter of opinion.
LOL. Disagrees? Even the diplomatic rational approach eh. tsk tsk. Classic N4G.
So its technically not really broken. Just needs the update. I'd like to see this fella try updating it via a external storage or will that not work either without the update? If not that really sucks.
Does Sony not have a way for you to retrieve your password?
I bought my PS4 for what Sony has done in the past. I know that the PS4 will be starving for games and that's a FACT. It baffles me that a lot of people expects a decent to good launch line up when I think the last console that had good games at launch was the N64.
"If Sony is calling this an isolated incident, and the issues are affecting 0.4% of consumers (a statement was issued to correct this figure from 0.04%), why have a decent size surplus of consoles for a product that is sold-out and in high demand."
Its called planning ahead. As much as you would like that none of the console sold would be problem free. Its would be naive to think other wise. How did this guy knew that they had a decent size surplus? Was he taken out ba...
"A strong launch is nice, but it doesn't necessarily imply long-term success."
You realize that this IS Sony right?! The one that takes chances. The one that supported games like Heavy Rain and Journey. The company that towards the end of its previous console's life cycle still produced games like The Last of Us.
Right. Its likely JUST a fad. :/
LOL. After all the back peddling MS had done so far this gen I wouldn't be surprised if they back peddled on this as well. Saying it out lout doesn't make it true MS and as far as having the 'better games'. Sony has a proven track record. PS3 did it last gen why would people think that it would change this Gen? MS relied heavily on 3rd party studios last gen and this Gen 3rd party games run better on PS4 a luxury Sony did not have last gen. We're already hearing that The P...
