Not only they go on and on with opposite arguments but it's all complete BS too.
Quote from previous article is full of misinformation as possibly can:
'The surprising PS5 reveal in Wired allowed Sony to focus the early next-gen discussion on the console which dovetailed perfectly with the misperception that console sales are still the criterion of success. Sony’s strongarm tactic of using PS5 exclusives to coerce players into buying the new console, the news that PS...
RAD is on a AAA TPS game. It's been known for a while.
Yes but theres a lot of fake news about it. He didnt say anything meaningful about BC, and why would he anyway? Its Ubi point of view on what's interesting for them.
I dont know why you have so many disagrees. Your absolutely right. These quotes from the article are ridiculous and disinformation
That Ms makes more money is completely irrelevant too. Gaming is about xbox and playstation. Not Ms vs Sony. It doesn't matter if Ms is a cloud company or Sony makes bluray, cameras or batteries
Imagine Uncharted 1, 3, and 4 being the most flawed games for a studio....
🙄
The discussion about other studios being great is fine. The argument to downplay one is flawed.
Facebook is debunking fake news stories? Wow. Its scary
So that's what Phil thinks the competition is....like at this moment...🙃
Please dont compare PlayStation to Trump.
🤢
@darthv72
'Nintendo and Sony are out of position when it comes to the amount of investment that is being put into cloud tech'
Yea it's nearly like the same thing with gamers.
You agree with Phil saying Nintendo and Sony are 'out of position'?
I think it's the other way round.
It's a site. It makes a big difference if an official said that. Website is updated when needed.
It actually makes likely to have more news soon because why would it be up then?
If you call people 'fanboys' because they only have one console or prefer one console then you got to reconsider what 'narrow thinking' is.
Calling oneself a 'true gamer' is also a hint.
Have you got a link? I wouldn't mind the laugh haha
I think its not bad at all.
Actually the author makes a few good points. They also miss other points though.
Never forget though, that console war is a real thing from the corporations. They use the fanbase and despise them at the same time pretending to be perfect.
A good example was Ybarra acting like a common troll while at Ms and showing a poor attitude for fans to copy. Its usually more subtle though.
That's the point. People hypocritically saying new gen games are anti consumers will praise them in two years time for dropping old @ss cpu GPU hdd etc to use new gen potential fully.
I agree. First that is not what 'cross-generation play ' means. PlayStation announced about a year ago ps5 will have cross-generation play. That is from a ps5 you ll be able to play with your friends who still are on ps4 on games that arent necessarily cross gen games since theres BC. Same for xbox I presume. Some games will be cross gen too.
Another example that the author seems misinformed is Hellblade II isnt a launch game. I think most gamers know it. It could end up...
I think you dont get it. It's about games exclusives to new gen. That also the same thing on pc. At some point, you want games using the new potential and not tied to years old tech. Even on phones it's the same thing.
That's nothing to do with gamers bragging about sales or platforms and more to do with getting innovative or at least keeping up with new tech games.
In a couple years time everyone will be praising the fact that new games are exclusive to new gen....
'The exclusives at launch will take full advantage of the Series X
and S hardware respectively and still scale to Xbox One and streaming.'
Is an impossibility though. Sounds like nowadays politics making people believe non sense.
It was a system seller actually. A vaporware system seller. Not only just after E3 2014 but Ms kept promoting it in the 'best line up in history'
