Indeed, especially the GOG Online Download Code within every physical copy was a nice statement to the industry, these guys really deserve some success.
Haha Septic give it a rest, people disagree with you, not with your opinion. We've seen it all from you :p
Sony skipping a press conference is hard for me to believe.
I'm looking forward to seeing it in action but unfortunately you can already tell from the screenshots that it's not a full next-gen game, cross-gen development shouldn't exist anymore imo.
No reason to let them away with anything, as customers we should have proper standards and expectations from a full-price title.
Do it, I'll take any Star Wars RPG that is not a MMORPG.
Finally someone who questions this phrase. Of course competition is good for the whole market but in regards to game development, you'll always get a better game if the developer doesn't have to develop and optimize it for multiple platforms. From my 10 favourite games of all time 8/10 are probably exclusives, they just have another level of quality, creativity and polish in most cases. Multiplatform games are usually just built around reaching the largest possible audience = income. ...
Germany always was Playstation-land but it also has to be said that they have rather smart consumers who research their purchases thoroughly.
My money is on inFamous 3 but whatever it is, it's probably around 2 years away.
I don't think they'll 'get paid' to say that but it will probably sell best on PS4 so it's smart to praise that version in particular.
Superior console version is fine with me as well, I prefer playing with a controller.
Buy stocks ;)
I'd even classify his comment as off-topic/trolling as he also felt the urge to mention his oh-so awesome X1. I think the lineup is acceptable but I was hoping for something else.
I'm pre-ordering games that are must-haves for me and where I want to support the developers. Bloodborne and The Witcher 3 are good examples for that, both games deserve success.
I kinda agree though, don't pre-order games just because of their name and stay away from annual franchises.
Looks alright from a gameplay perspective but I'm not quite sure whether I can have "fun" while playing this...
Your stealth concern trolling could use some secret juice.
Same here, this is a must-have masterpiece in every gaming collection. I'm just not sure whether I'll get it day1 or later.
This whole "story" has become so messed up, seriously.
I'm still not sure that Kojima has been truly fired, I mean wtf Konami?! This could very well be the biggest ruse of the entire entertainment industry, I mean if anyone could pull this off it's Kojima...
They're milking this series for a decade now... is it too much to ask for a bit originality? The trailer simply looked like 'Generic Futuristic Military Shooter #5" to me.
Well "more cost than it's worth" is not a business decision I would expect from someone like Ubisoft. You might want to believe that publishers have different reasons for doing these kind of things and these decisions start in the marketing department, not in.. controlling :v
@below: Skipping a platform (with an install base of 15mio+) is not something big publishers did last gen, this pretty much started within the last few months and these decisions are pasrt...
