Did you just seriously forget Bloodborne? You don't deserve these bubblez :D
Yes it's like the cardboard box in MGS, it belongs to the Souls series.
I actually don't.
I hope there'll be dynamic ones like on PS3 where it changed the color depending on day and time... can't wait for v2.0!
Why is everybody talking about time? It doesn't take more than a year and a few millions to build up a decent development studio of it's own, that's certainly better than paying 50mio for GTA DLC. They don't need to start with 200+ people... Media Molecule for example consists of about 50-70 people if I'm not mistaken and they are one of Sony's most important studios. Microsoft has so much money, they could have the best first party network if they just wanted to build...
I like what I see but I'm far from sold. FIFA disappointed me in the last few years, PES14 was crap as well but PES13 was awesome. Hopefully I like one of them this year as I would really like to have a good football game on PS4.
His comment had nothing to do with the topic at hand, hence the disagrees. We all know it's on Xbone as well, nobody talked about Xbone though.
"Starting with Destiny, it'll really begin to take off."
That's very true. From September onwards every month is filled with interesting games until at least March. Up to now I think both next-gen consoles had a pretty weak lineup but remember that the first year of every new console is/was pretty rough.
As can be seen very good in the below video :)
The bloodsplatter in this game is one of the best I've seen in games yet.
The players look better than in any football game before, I don't think you can run that on an average PC. Yes he overreacted but I don't disagree with what he said.
Another nail because of some PR bullsh*t? Gameplaywise it looks like PES15 > FIFA15 to me.
The question is, what's better at these kind of conferences? I don't think anything weighs more than announcing new games.
Care to elaborate? Maybe in terms of controversy but certainly not in terms of generated excitement.
Sony did the press conference right, at least they got people excited... started the show with trailers for known games and then announced something new every few minutes. And then announce even more games on the Playstation Blog (like Journey, The Unfinished Swan, Ether One, SNOW, QUBE², In Space We Brawl, 99 Bricks Wizard, PIX the Cat, etc. etc.) so the last few days had something for everyone. Microsoft on the other hand ended Gamescom with yet another PR disaster.
I ...
Gamescom was pretty good overall and certainly better than the last few years, having unrealistic expectations is purely the author's fault. Sony announced at least 10 new games and showed great trailers for their upcoming exclusives, if you weren't interested in any of this that's your problem.
@DARK WITNESS
The exclusive content is not limited to gear, see for yourself:
"At launch, PS4 and PS3 owners will get exclusive access to a unique co-op Strike located on Mars, an exclusive competitive map, and a slew of exclusive guns, gear, and ships."
Additionaly every Destiny Expansion (the first one coming in December, I was surprised that it's so soon) will have exclusive content as well. I would say that this and the fact that the PS4 is...
Haha same for me, I used him more than anybody else but I found that they could've made him so much better... I still hope we'll see him again, I could care less for Sweet Tooth or Nathan Drake tbh.
Of course it has RPG elements, it is an RPG... you'll collect blood which you'll spend on upgrading your skills & attributes and buying weapons & gear. It's classic Souls-gameplay with a few very interesting twists (like the Regain mechanic).
I'm especially looking forward to the reveal of the online mode, I'm guessing it will somehow involve hunters & beasts.
