Well if it's so good that you Youtubed the entire game I guess it's worth getting the remaster for someone like me who hasn't seen or played this game yet at all :)
Many people already moved from Xbox 360 to PS3 last gen when Microsoft couldn't keep up with Sony's game releases. This gen is just continuing that trend.
I suspect quality reasons, this is why I'm waiting for reviews with this one. Watch Dogs was too underwhelming to justify another Ubisoft preorder.
WiiU + PS4 is the way of common sense this gen, gamers in Germany know whats up.
Still shouldn't we demand that our bought games are playable offline as well? I have other hobbies (and other consoles as well) but I'd rather hold onto my rights as a customer.
Because their marketing department would be bored otherwise.
lol what are you talking about? You see your character regularly in third person mode where the armor is visible. And hey, you know what? This is an RPG where armor is more than just shiny visuals.
Variety... I know it's hard to imagine but there are people out there that enjoy playing these online modes with their own customized characters.
Revolutionary is a strong word these days... we'll see :)
Wouldn't surprise me at this point, Rockstar usually has at least something to show at Gamescom but this year you heard nothing from them. Either they are planning a release in December or it has been delayed.
I think the Tomb Raider deal shows just how out of touch and business focused Microsoft is. They forced this game to exclusivity just to have a few months advantage while they could have used that money to build up own IP's. Now Xbox gamers get early access to a multiplatform game and only more Halo and Gears, two franchises that dropped in quality with their latest entries.
Microsoft is just a huge company that forced it's way into the gaming industry with truckloads of money. Just recently they started to actually "care" about gamers (and indies) when Phil Spencer took over but still, you'll never call them a gaming company. They announced that their focus currently lies on mobiles and the cloud so I don't think Xbox will change that much anytime soon - especially when you still have timed exclusive deals and and no fresh IP's, while t...
Got two weeks vacation for Destiny :)
Another one in October (Dragon Age / Driveclub / AC:U) and another 2 during Christmas (Smash Bros / LBP3)... working very hard right now to have a relaxed end of the year, only a few weeks left! :D
^I think we all know exactly HOW she got to be a writer for Kotaku *cough*
These two sites are the worst and most people avoided them for years, Polygon and Kotaku shouldn't exist if you ask me.
Ouh Sony can I come as well? I won't make any trouble, promised :S
I think it's okay, PS Allstars is a must-play and Velocity 2X is pretty good as well. Hoard and Joe Danger aren't bad neither so I don't get the rage. Some seem to forget that if you buy them all separately you'll pay more than a year of PS+.
I'd rather have Titanfall 2 at this point.
I prefer the option to upgrade my internal HDD in any case, I already have determined which HDD (1TB SSHD) I'll get, I'm just waiting until I really need it. Like I said, I would not use external HDD's for gaming at all, USB is not made for these kind of data streams.
Also redownloading is not a problem for me (I wouldn't have gone full digital if it were one), I downloaded TLOU:R within an hour.
I would never play games through external HDD's, not only does it consume more power, you also strain it unnecessarily. I always had this choice on my PC but I always copied the games to my internal HDD that has more than enough space. I went full digital this gen and bought many PS4 games and I have no space issues at all, this argument is not very potent imo.
I'm pretty sure that it was not Microsoft who made the decision to let this release happen on PS4.
