So sales at LAUNCH not the year we're expected to be in the multiple hundreds of thousands not the 100 thousand you keep going on about.

You sound like a spin doctor. A bad one. If it were being projected down by a few tens of thousand or even hundreds of thousands I would agree, but almost 2 million less due to stock? Reaching only 28% of protections due to stock?? Gimme a break guy.
I used to envy PS+ subscribers back in the PS3 days, Sony were very generous with their "free" games in terms of quality. I feel like they had a great balance between indie and AAA, they had something for everyone.
I know someone will say that the early years of PS+ were dicey on PS3 but come on guys, it's been 3 years now, I think we can drop that excuse.

They only shipped 80 K units? That was incredibly shortsighted of them. That's no way to launch a console. I mean I understand Japan has shifted to handheld consoles this gen but how do you ship 80 k units when the base Ps4 was averaging 30k units a week?

Gears of War 4 was 3rd behind Mafia and Battlefield 1 which was the fastest selling Battlefield in DICE history so I don't know what you are on about.
They should have gotten a marketing deal with either Sony or Microsoft, TF1 had a massive amount of hype because of the big marketing push from Microsoft.
