Microsoft hasn't done double. Are you honestly counting deadlight? That's like counting Dead Nation or The Last Guy on the Playstation side. But that's besides the point. Dead Rising and State of Decay couldn't be more different, it remains to be seen if DG can differentiate itself from TLoU enough to shake off the comparisons

In what planet did State of Decay and Left for Dead (2) release around the same time? There's 4 years between them. Also worth noting is that these games were distinctly different from each other. TLoU and Days Gone 'seem' to be very much planted in the same genre while sharing a lot of cinematic gameplay and story elements.
