We are talking "BLOCKBUSTER" that words meaningless this gen as deliveries don't match the hype, at all. You admit the online was nonsense, yet you're going to disagree. Gears is heavily an online supported title, as most plow through the cliche story to get to the online. Gears 2 having buggered online, is like MW2 having buggered online. Its kind of a large portion of the series. Which is why I made the comment.

Hell, when has a Delay/Extended dev time done anything good for Xbox games?
I mean not only is XBL streamlined to show you the advertisments/override the gui. You also have a vastly different demographic than you do on PSN. I mean as a person selling a product, wouldn't you rather offer your overpriced goods to people whom pay for free online, spend a hike-up' premium price for Wifi/HDD's/Accessories?
I doubt they would see the same success on PSN. Kudos to Microsoft though, as far as offering advertising they are top notch!

All 360/multiplat games are dumbed down at multiplayer. Gears 2 is a shining example of this.
People like Kotick benefit from a system war.. there are few multiplatform/exclusive games that Rival PS3 exclusives. HOLD ON.. im not on a PS3 exclusive rant, which I love doing... but this is different.
