They would be smart to. They could recuperate their low sales so far. Insomniac is a really talented developer and deserves it. I know I would pick it up.
Edit- you can downvote me all you want, but aside from Microsoft giving it away for free on Games with Gold, it sold very poorly. The game deserves to have a wider audience with bigger sales. I suppose we should just let it die, lessening the chances of a sequel? Ok then.
As a PS4 owner, I agree with you. I got a free copy of Amplitude through a PSN error a while back, but Sony just revoked the license like a week later. I know I wasn't owed anything.
They're more likely to give some PR spin, like total amount of hours players have spent time-shifting combined.
Yea, I was playing The Last of US Remastered again yesterday. I had nothing but great things to say about that game. Still love it. But, I actually started wishing it controlled smoother like UC4. They really nailed the controls I think.
@Nineball2112 It's there. Check out Nitrowolf2's comment below.
"For whatever reason it's hidden if you control f the word rating it'll find it, just highlight the full line and it shows up 5 out of 10
All the reviews hide the score but it's there"
Yea, by all means, everyone feel free not to click the link. I don't care if they get clicks.
I posted it just to show that it exists though. Considering that there are 105 Positive reviews, for a 2nd Metacritic reviewer to give it a low score (Neutral, not Negative rated, mind you)...... that is news.
Interesting. Thanks for pointing that out!
I grabbed the score that it was assigned on Metacritic.
Edit: The score is actually on the review, just hidden. Check out Nitrowolf2's comment below.
Hey, I love the game. Just showing that there's a 2nd Metacritic reviewer who doesn't. Doesn't bother me.
I think the reviewer's bio under the review says enough:
"The chance discovery of a muddy, burnt out copy of '50 Shades of Grey' in a hunting pit gave him an appreciation for complex plots, characters and overarching narrative..."
Edit- @Perjoss: That's fine, he's entitled to his opinion. As a lover of the game, I still posted the review to N4G because it's news worthy that another Metacritic reviewer gave it a less-than-...
I do not agree with this review, but I thought it was worth posting as I just saw it pop up on Metacritic. Only the second review on there that wasn't in the Positive range.
Grab the torches, boys & girls! /s
*Edit- Some people are wondering where the score is on the review. I grabbed the 50/100 it received on Metacritic.
*Edit 2- Actually, as Nitrowolf2 pointed out below, the score IS there. Weirdly it's hidden. Do "control f&qu...
I bet we'll see an Uncharted spinoff of some sort... but not by Naughty Dog. UC4 was a cashcow for Sony's May GDP. It's become bigger than Halo. I'd be fine with it ending, it was a perfect ending. If another studio took it on though, I'm sure I'd play it.
Lmao, that gave me a good chuckle.
So I shouldn't have been hyped for Uncharted 4, even though it lived up to every bit of that hype? Yea, not even going to give this article a click.
@Edmix Yep, I'd rather it be the best it can be, instead of being rushed to meet another deadline.
Lol, I almost want to click Appove because of how hilariously random this is. But I won't.
Sure hope The Last Guardian keeps its 2016 release date!
Good review. I was wondering if I should pick this up. I had heard about some of the problems. It sounds like another case similar to Driveclub... maybe released too early, broken, but ultimately turned into a decent game post launch. I Platinumed Driveclub so I may pick this up next time I see it on sale.
What took it so long? The US release was back in December.
@TheGreatGamer Exactly. No hate on Sony for doing what was expected. Kudos to Microsoft though for even compensating people for this.
