Thanks Goldby! I do freelance from home. Everything from children's books, an animated tv show I worked on once and even some games in the last few years. You can check out my portfolio in my bio here on N4G. Yea, it hasn't been a large amount, and nothing really substantial. Maybe something you've heard of, but haven't actually played, like Goosebumps the Game when I freelanced with WayForward. Always struggling with keeping consistent work though. Currently looking for my ne...
@UltraNova Thanks man! My parents have my old SNES, Genesis, N64, PS1 and games still in storage at their house somewhere. They have the NES too, but it blew out in a thunderstorm over 15 years ago. :P Still have all the games though, may try to pick up a used one somewhere. Yea, I definitely want them experiencing the classics!
I hope the NX doesn't disappoint either. I never have picked up a WiiU, even though I thought about it. Definitely want our kid growing up on ...
Thanks iceman. That's really encouraging to hear. :)
Thank you very much! Still feels surreal.
I actually haven't had any interest in Pokemon Go, but it does sound like a fun toy to share with a little one. They don't have to actively play, they'll have fun just helping you find them. It will encourage him or her to get out and enjoy nature and local culture. For parents, I defintely see it as a positive thing. It can also be a good tool to teach them about responsibility and safety... as many people are doing da...
Yea, I just found out I'm becoming a father, 4 days ago. Super excited, but I will admit my gaming addiction has caused me to miss some opportunities in my career. Putting stuff off in favor of binge gaming. I love gaming and I definitely want to game with my child, but I want him/her to moderate it more than I ever did. I'm a working artist, but feel I could have been way more successful if I devoted more time to it.
edit- the occasional binge gaming IS alright.
Yes, I hope they give an update soon! I still play Hot Shots International quite often on my Vita. Such a great game.
@Gr8b8m8 That's cool. I don't have time to launch my own investigation, nor do I care to. Whatever.
Thanks for the clarification. I didn't take the time to fact check the claims. I wouldn't have been surprised if he did in fact do it, but that's good to hear he disclosed it. I'm not a fan of his, but that doesn't justify misinformation.
Makes sense.
I wonder if any guys have claimed alternative gender identity in order to get into the women's bathrooms to catch a Pokemon. Sounds kind of funny- Woman: "What the hell are you doing in here?!" Guy: "Don't worry, I'm just here to take a Pikachu." (sounds like 'peek at you')
Lol That gives a whole new meaning to setting lures.
Joseph's a liar. She sits on her ass all day playing Pokemon. At least Pokemon Go will get her out of the house some now.
Hope we don't hear stories about kids wandering into crack houses.
Some guy approaches them "Wanna catch them all, kid?"
It was a great game, but still dirty he accepted bribes. I don't care for him anyways.
Glad I already paid for my preorder back in May, because it doesn't look like I would have the money next month.
Lords of the Fallen is actually a pretty decent game. It doesn't reach the heights of a Souls game or Bloodborne... way easier, but I still had a lot of fun with it.
Good for people who want a Souls type game, but want to relax a bit more.
What a freakin' man-child.
This is great. Glad to see some heart in gaming.
Personally, I'll wait until they drop to 59.99. :P
Dude must have been drunk, that's the only way I can see that scenario happening.
Hilarious read though with the responses.
The lack of Super Metroid on here is disturbing, but you do have some other good choices on here. Definitely, without a doubt Link to the Past! Glad it was #1. :)
