Yes, Blizzard almost always produces games with more lasting appeal than many other game developers. You are right on that.
I think most people are acknowledging that it was an overstatement. If you had just said Hearthstone is a great game, sure I would have given you an upvote. But by saying "one of the greatest games of all time", it makes it sound like you just started gaming a few years ago.
edit- It is your opinion, and you're certainly entitled to it. Just don't expect people to agree with you though.
Yea, the gameplay is really great. My only issue with it is that the dialogue/character acting is really corny... BUT the gameplay is solid, which is what really matters. I can overlook that.
I have not, but I've watched some livestreams. Yea, it looks great. I'll pick it up when the price drops. I wasn't big into MOBAs... I have a group of friends who always play League of Legends and tried to get me into it. I had an alright time with it, but really didn't get into the MOBA thing until Smite these last few months. I love that the characters are based on real world mythology, many of which I'm familiar with. There's a lot of variety in playstyle.

Yea, my point wasn't to make Germany feel bad about it. Lots of great people from there. I was only pointing out that it's silly to blame video games, bc evil always exists regardless.
And on your point, it's silly to cover things up. Acknowledging will help the world to not make the same mistakes. Assassin's Creed hasn't shyed away from acknowledging slavery, or the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church.
How about the Holocaust? Was that due to video games too? -__-

And regardless of what kalebninja says above, it is important to post this article. If the politicians have their way, they'll censor games even more. It's good for everyone to be aware so we can voice our opposition back.
@badz149 That's cool for PC gamers, but I already spend enough time on my computer for work. Any time I get off of it, I value... which is why I console game.
It doesn't suck, it's just not amazing. With so many MOBAs hitting, especially with so many fun free ones, it's hard to make the case for having its original high price tag.
It really felt like a free to play title, which is probably the route it should have gone. Maybe they'll throw it on PS+ this Fall. I'd put more time into it for free.
I wouldn't even pay this price. It's not a terrible game, I played the beta. But it wasn't extraordinary either. It was decent fun. I'd pay $15 for the deluxe edition, that's about it.
I'm worried that the community will die out pretty fast.

One reason I do preorder, even digitally is bc I can pay it off ahead of time. I never know when life responsibilities may hit harder on a particular month. For instance, I paid off No Man's Sky the first week of May. I've since been real sick, in and out of clinics and a hospital stay. I wouldn't be spending money on a game next month bc of all those costs, BUT it's paid off. Glad I'll be getting it at launch.

Yea, I would have preferred to get it earlier in the Fall, but it's still a day 1 purchase for me. At least it's still coming this year! Absolutely loved the first one.
Why would they announce it on the official Playstation blog then? Retailers are the ones who do placeholder dates.
