That's assuming everyone has to start from scratch. Some people may have some decent components already and just need to upgrade a few things or less. Maybe just a new graphics card.

Having a PC that can outperform either of these mid-gen upgrades, yes exclusives do matter. PS4 Pro/PC has me covered for the best of all worlds... well, except I need a Switch for some good ol' Nintendo nostalgia.
I don't care much for Angry Joe, but he made a really good point on the Youtube Live show.... all of the huge, major destruction of Crackdown "the power of the cloud" is now seemingly gone. Some destruction here and there, but nothing massive like they originally shown. Maybe it's yet to be showcased, but it looks dumbed down.

Yea, going XBox One only would be a mistake, but the addition of PC sweetens it. I'll get it there. If Microsoft publishes, than sure, they can have my money. I own a number of XB1 titles there. If it's released on Steam or elsewhere, then oh well, Square Enix can have it.
At least nothing on XB1 is console exclusive anymore if you have the computer for it.

I never had the patience to learn the game of chess until Pure Chess, which was very helpful to newcomers and beautiful for its time. I'll have to pick this one up, it looks even better.

I get it, Scorpio is fine for some. An entry point. I think announcing Play Anywhere BEFORE Scorpio may hurt them some in hardware sales. They still get my first party software dollars though.

That's funny, my Scorpio ready PC has an NVidia. But yea, I enjoy games on all fronts. Not denying I love some XB titles like Forza, I just don't need their hardware.
I played it some on my PC. 2.5 out of 10 is a bit low. The game is a solid 4 out of 10.

I had both the 360 and PS3 (as well as a Wii)... I certainly remember paying an extra $100 for a wireless network adapter for my 360, already built into the PS3. The PS3 also had a Bluray drive, not just for movies (unlike 360's movie only HD-DVD drive failure) but for actually storing large games on one disc. Remember Lost Odyssey on 360? Great game, but 4 freakin' discs! ...
Ah man, you missed out on a PSN sale this last year where the game and Season Pass dropped to super cheap. I can't remember exactly what month it was, but that's when I picked it up.
Maybe it will hit a sale again.
Whether you go PS4, PC or Switch... it IS a great game, (as is the whole series).

I have it on PS4, have always loved the series. Have all the rest on Vita. Would have liked for this to come to Vita also, but when I eventually get a Switch, I'll pick this up again. Disgaea games are fantastic for on-the-go play.
Glad I bought the Digital Deluxe version of UC4 and get this free!
Granted, I won't get the Jak and Daxter bonus, but I'll be able to pick that up for less than $36.38.
