agreed. the authors assertion that sony will be "stumbling" into next gen if they don't attend e3 is laughable. i'll be preordering a ps5 as soon as i can. and every other gamer i know will be doing the same thing. also, the author says that by not going to e3, sony is giving away an entire news cycle to the competiton - really? i guess he thinks sony isn't allowed to talk about anything unless they're at e3.

if it weren't for sony 1st party games, i'd agree with you - but pc doesn't get them. if sony would sell them on pc, i might end up gaming only on pc. until then, i'll stay with PS - their 1st party games are too much fun to miss.
