IF it is true that demon souls remake is what bluepoint games is making for ps5, then i'd say it'll be launch day proof of your statement. there are a lot of gamers who love souls games and the only way they'll be able to play DS will be on ps5.
no. the horrible character they created for the lead in GTA4 was a bad idea......going back to 80s VC, is a good idea.

true. but, i'm not going to support a console which doesn't have enough exclusive games that i want to play. MS has GOT to do better with 1st-party. it's the reason they can't compete with sony or (now) even nintendo.
if MS would come up with 3 - 5 games that hit me as "must-have" exclusives for the seriesX - i'd buy one. but in the 15 years the xbox has been around, i've only had an interest in gears and L4D.......that's not enough.

if someone is interested in this sort of thing, i see your point. however, for quite a while all i've heard is how great gamepass is because of the low cost of the subscription. monthly phone costs aren't cheap - if MS were to give a free discless console for a monthly sub - what do you think the price of the sub would be in order to "subsidize" the cost of the free console?

edit- at othermoon. it isn't a "generalization" to say that great exclusives matter to gamers - it's a fact. check out the last 25 years of console gaming and tell me who has ALWAYS been on top - and WHY....nuff said.
man, when it comes to picking a console, i don't care about the services/subs; free consoles; or, if it'll make my bed and have breakfast waiting for me when i come downstairs.......microsoft doesn't get it - i just want great games. and sony 1st-party puts out games i want to play. i'll pay to play those games. as soon as i can, i'll preorder a ps5 and not think twice about the cost.

it's only a "win-win for consumers" if you want to play in different places. i never do so it's a non-factor to me. so i hope any update for this would be optional as i'd never use it.

might be ok - i got 2 years of plus from a no-name site at 29 dollars a year a few months ago. just google the site to see if it's legit or not.
