christopher - GREAT post -
#3 was hilarious and great common sense:
"If I go to the store to buy an Xbox, will they magically know which one is the one I want? Oh, I just mention the model name? Oh, you mean the name of the actual console?"
- great stuff!
i hate it. it doesn't seem necessary and why mess with something that works so good to begin with.
key word being "giant" - LOL
my impression was "strong" for sure. first thing i saw was the picture and my initial thought was "what the f#ck is that??"
agreed. i liked that it can be played solo or co-op.
it's listed as a "console exclusive" that will also show up on PC.
#1 reason i'm getting it is because it's sony - 23+ years and they've continued to deliver great games - hard to believe that's going to change.
i've bought all 4 playstation consoles and enjoyed every one thanks to sonys stellar 1st-party games........for this reason, i'm already excited - i'll be getting ps5 on day1.
no-internet : man, i forgot about the bubbles! i loved that system.
a 1000 dollar phone is NOT a "necessity".
i guess 10 people (at present count) don't want great games - they just want to buy an awful-looking console with average-to-bad games.
well, just like the saying goes - "a fool and his money are soon parted"
we don't know the official height yet - and what i'm wondering is:
if it is stood upright - how much clearance is needed at the top? it looks like it's going to release a lot of heat at the top - so, i'm thinking it can't sit on a shelf if it doesn't have enough clearance to let the outgoing heat spread out into the air. if the above shelf is just several inches above - i would think that would be an issue. maybe not, though- it'll be interesting to read...
what about sully!? i'd rather have an uncharted with sully as the lead and none of the characters you mentioned. a prequel maybe - with sully on a treasure hunt before he ever met nate.
if they do another uncharted - i want sully as the lead.
you really make sense with that - it'll never happen but it makes sense.
no. re2 was enough for me. i don't need another RE remake.
man, i remember when donkey kong and punch out first hit the arcades!........still gaming.
again it's business. banks give you less than 1% on a CD; BUT will loan out money and charge 5% (for example) interest. car lots sell used cars for MORE than they gave in trade to the previous owner. why would gamestop sell used games for less than they gave in credit?
i've preordered every PS console at gamestop - and they always have it ready for me on launch day. it really has nothing to do with trust - it's business. if you have a receipt to pick up a console on launch day - they HAVE to have it for you. that's business.
LOL!
