I watch Anime, read Manga, and play JRPG's / Japanese games all the time.
I don't care what people 'accept', I just do what I enjoy. If someone hates me for it, fuck em! I am having fun so that's all that matters to me.
And plus I hate talking to people, so if I can run them off faster, all the better.

A scroll is just a parchment used in ancient/midevil/dark ages time frame, so by that logic they are really just naming their game 'Paper' and one cannot copyright 'paper'. Bethesda needs to get their head out of their asses.
October, the only game that matters for me is Dark Souls. I am gonna borrow Batman from a friend, and don't really care for FPS games.
November, is Skyrim and Uncharted. Again I will borrow Assassin's Creed from the same friend. As I am unsure about the story from this point on... I really would have just preferred a fantasy game, instead of... Whatever is going on right now.
And I am not getting anything in December... I don't think...

October 4'th is Dark Souls day. Everything else is back of the line!
What does it take? Creativity. That is all.
If you launch a new IP (Take Homefront) and make it another war game to compete with the big games like Battlefield and CoD then you will likely die in a fire (See Homefront)
However if you look at Demon's Souls which was standing by itself it did great because everyone wanted to see the new idea. Same with Assassin's Creed.

I just hope they get a good track listing. I like allot of metal and metalcore. As well as hard rock and such, which needless to say allot of games don't have much of those categories.

I remember when there where less FPS games... Which was a great thing. I don't mind shooters, but that seems to be all western devs make. That or shotty sword games like The Cursed Crusade.
So many shooters is what has the market in a stranglehold, and because of that all main "characters" are shaved head military men. I hold nothing against those who serve in real life. But I don't want every game to be about them.
