The image makes me upset thinking about the closing of Lionhead. Some great games came from them and I was expecting more from such a talented group. Always a shame when a studio closes down.
I love them both. The paddles are a huge improvement over the easily pressed original elite paddles. Although the inner paddle is more difficult to reach because of the vertical arrangement.
The sticks are the bigger upgrade but I purchased the red ones and they are already faded to a reddish pink after a little over one month of use. Other than that I'd say both are phenomenal products and I consider them upgrades. They are expensive though.
Well considering I've had this accessory pack for at least two months I don't know how this is news. I also have scuf sticks and grips I've had a little over a month.
Both good upgrades over what comes with the standard elite.
Really? All I saw and heard were complaints. Iron Banner was the ultimate lag fest and there was tons of connection manipulation in Trials that would disconnect the other team.
Anyone who still defends P2P should be embarrassed.
I'm loving the Switch! Bring on the games Nintendo, Zelda and Mario Kart are phenomenal achievements for handheld gaming in my opinion.
I'm loving this generation with my switch, PS4 pro with PSVR, and my future Scorpio!
I've had so many fantastic experiences and love the fierce competition between the three. It's making it better for everyone and I am beyond pumped for E3.
Microsoft who started this practice and made it popular is on the losing end of exclusive time gating.
But in the 360 generation websites like cheatcc praised them for winning the generation even though PS3 caught up.
The hypocrisy just reaks in these stupid articles.
Well when a Nintendo fanboy has 5 or 6 made up friends it's easy to make up a story about abandoning other game consoles with the anonymity of gaming forums.
Tethering internet from your phone to the switch is good enough to give you some terrible lag. Also with no way of communicating the multiplayer in Mario Kart just feels like I'm playing better bots.
And the best thing about playing with your friends in Mario Kart on switch is that you can...
I haven't clicked on or read a Gamespot article in years. They are one of the worst at posting click bait reviews.
Dang Stapleton at IGN is also a huge joke. You can ignore his reviews and opinions because he just loves attention.
To tell you the truth a lot of video game journalism has become poor. I'd rather watch YouTube videos or 30 minutes on twitch to form my opinion.
Anytime Dan Stapleton reviews or write an article it's best if you just move along. Honestly with his poor job performance and attitude it blows my mind he's able to keep his job.
If I behaved or produced such poor results I would expect to be demoted or laid off. He's probably the only journalist on the 3 gaming websites I visit that I just can't stand and choose to avoid.
A part of me believes is this kind of controversy creates a lot of...
Honestly I want to see it shelved for a few years. The development stories I've read about this game speak to the incompetent time management and direction of their management.
It reminds me of the Destiny 1 development. The game was scrapped and reworked several times. It amazes me how awful management becomes in big corporations.
Aren't unexciting and decent pretty similar? This title doesn't do it for me, it seems unexciting but I bet it's decent. I'll pass.
I love this new console cycle. It's keeping me engaged and looking forward to new hardware.
Gaming was getting pretty boring with the 10 year console cycle for most players.
Loved these games! It's nice having these just added to my Xbox one library over time. Always have something to do even during game launch droughts.
My Best Buy had 11 in stock today. Don't live in a small town either. Our population is around 400k. It's not the first time I've seen them either.
I bought mine at launch and the same best buy had over 60 with about 40 of us getting them without pre-ordering.
To me it seems that past console launches of PS4, 360, PS3, and Wii were much harder to fine at this point.
@Cupofjoe You need to do your own research because yours is more ridiculous. Eurogamer said the equivalent part is a Rx 470. That card is basically a GTX 970 for benchmark purposes..
At $1200 I'd buy this monitor. I'd rather have freesync though. Hopefully there is a model with this same panel with freesync and they can have my money.
Normandy in VR.
I don't think any of those games you listed are system sellers. Maybe Mario later this year.
Yeah the nvidia/Intel monopoly really hurt us all.
They do and they don't. Of course they want the numbers but the customers who buy 10 games a year are for more important to them than someone who buys only one game.
So I think they'd rather sell them to gamers or people who play tons of games obviously, which is usually the launch window crowd. Any or those units being scalped or sold to someone who is going to take months to customize then resell aren't high value customers.
