Yeah Freesync can work over HDMI but the monitor has to support it over that input. For example Monitor 1 (which I own) only does Freesync over DisplayPort.
Didn't check all the other monitors listed but a few of them I know don't support Freesync over HDMI.
It's also grossly irresponsible to advertise these monitors will be compatible with Xbox One X for Freesync.
Model 1 in the article (which I own) only supports Freesync over DisplayPort (and only one of the two DisplayPorts to be exact). It's also only from the range of 40-60hz.
In order to get your Xbox One to output to that DisplayPort active adapter. Startech makes one for 79.99 that only does 190
That's probably the worst way to experience Destiny. After the expansions launch the previous portions of the game are obsolete or useless for progression.
You must not understand how this particular type of game works or maybe the MMO model isn't your cup of tea.
Wrong again, Xbox One X supports Freesync 2. You're on a streak though of being an awful troll and contributing nothing but misinformation in this thread.
Always hating on PlayStation. Classic Moldy.
No this is relevant although the title doesn't explain why. When update 5.0 drops for PS4, it will allow the Pro to stream in 1080p/60fps something that isn't available on regular PS4 or any other console at the moment.
The thumbnail though is ridiculous and pointless. The article is also pretty terrible. It's basically click bait so all you need to know is the PS4 Pro will have higher bit rate streaming which is always good.
It's because the new system update
(5.0) is allowing streamers to stream in 1080p/60fps from the PS4 Pro.
I'm not clicking this click bait articles though because of the stupid thumbnail and I hate their ads anyways.
Gaming is a hobby and this is a forum. We don't need a 5 paragraph essay and references to express an opinion.
The Kotaku article is a good read if you would like to know more about game development though.
It was for sell by Amazon for 299.99 but it was for a little less than 9 minutes from other articles I read.
#babadivad Funny you mention this made up nonsense when techpowerup just performed i5's vs i7 benchmarks to show threads don't matter. Hyperthreading on 4 core CPUs made performance worse.
There was a steelbook edition announced the day it was announced. GameStop only which sucks. Hopefully Best Buy will make this game one where you just get a free steelbook with the standard edition of the game.
It's actually more than a year since the Taken King came out in 2015. So 2 years to be in fact which is actually worse than year 1. And now they are coming out when the game is irrelevant.
@BiggerBoss Love your anecdotal evidence that doesn't mean anything. Just because your 1-2 friends on Xbox didn't complain about a couple exotics (which happens to be strikes, multiplayer maps, armor sets, and exotics) doesn't mean it isn't an awful practice.
Sure we will all take your word for it though that you and your friends represent the entire player base.
I counted 13 switches on the shelf on Sunday night around 6:30 at my local best buy. I live in a town with w population over 300k so I feel like around here it isn't too bad to find.
Couldn't find any other first post on this article as blatantly dumb as this one or yours. Doesn't matter what type of fanboy the comments are still stupid and childish.
Another troll posting comments that have nothing to do with the content of the video/article.
This is arguably the most embarrassing fanboy post I've seen on N4G and this site is loaded with intolerable fanboy garbage.
No joke. John Carmack himself basically said you would have to have twice the GPU power to get similar performance on a PC. A 10-12 teraflop gpu is costing more than the entire Scorpio or sorry Xbox one X.
Even though teraflops isn't a great measurement it's a pretty decent generalization of performance predictio. The optimization in a console just can't be matched by a PC.
Yeah I don't see how this is any different from an independent study showing a rare post market side effect and then the big pharmaceutical company denying the data.
You guys wouldn't dare defend Merck or Pfizer on something similar. Difference here is Microsoft can lie and not release their own data without consequences. Also keeps all the fanboys arguing over BC.
Data is data and if it keeps people talking about their product then in the end th...
Lacks excitement? Never heard anyone say that about Shaxx.
