I think they have to avoid those silly terms and give XBox a normal name...
"X", "360", "One" were all trendy naming terms that feel extremely outdated after a while.
When you put a the names together, you have no way to tell which is the latest one, or even which is a more powerful one.
For example "PS4 Pro" obviously is a higher end version of "PS4", but what the heck are S and X.
They created the open world formula many years ago, and then drained all souls from it over the years, now is just same game with different themes.
And for some reasons, their characters are very hard to feel related to, very soulless and inconsistent.
@locomorales
But not even one of them are better than Sony top 5 games.
Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed... same game with different skin...
Immortals Fenyx Rising is something different, but it exists because of Breath of the Wild...
They do make some good games here and there, but they are far from innovative...
I feel like they don't even know yet, too early.
If they can say all games will be exclusive to attract more sales for Xbox and gamepass, to slow down PS5 growth, why wouldn't they do it now?
The only reason, they don't know yet.
Talk about silly loyalty when you cannot accept some people don't like it.
Phil Spencer sells a vehicle with no wheels and engine.
The rest of the world: "How is that acceptable?"
Xbox Fanboys: "Yay, more options"
Coming from a Wii U, the only new games that I want to play on Switch so far is Mario Odyssey, and Breath of the Wild 2... other than those, the system has mostly old ports or crapper version of third party games.
Switch is my least favorite Nintendo console, and then Wii.
I think from the order of what I had the most fun with, I would say... (Not including NES, was too young)
SNES > N64 > GameCube > Wii U > Wii > Switch...
Too soon. And I want them to try different things, not everyone is a fan of soulborne games.
I wonder if they prefer AA batteries powered smart phone as well.
If it doesn't last more than a day for you then perhaps you are playing way too much, over the last 7 years, my PS4 controllers never went out of power DURING a play session, I put it back on the charger if it is too low after a day.
I find it funny all these Xbox fanboys saying how it is inconvenient to charger your controllers as if plugging in a cable is harder than open your controller to replace the battery when they completely runs out. Unless they all replace the...
His goal poles move so fast that I can see a fence.
I think this is a very smart thing to do regularly, so people won't hold back when they see a sale, instead of hoping or afraid next month they will get the games for free. I think they will earn more in the long run.
The difference is...
The console before PS3 is PS2
And
The console before XBox Series X is XBox One
And human make their decisions based on the past.
Exactly, I will buy an XBox when it is there, and save myself some money before that happens. I don't need to buy a promise, if I want to gamble with my money, there are far better options out there.
@Puty
And that's the problem, as soon as a company does something nice, people start to think how to exploit it, take advantage of it and start asking for more.
And that's exactly why good things don't last.
@Latex74
Hard to agree with you though, my PS5 after a few initial patches are running perfectly now, it only crashes when playing cyberpunk, which we all know isn't Sony's fault.
The controller feel next gen, the UI feel next gen, I have played a lot of new games launched with the console, even if some of them are also available on PS4, I can at least get to experience something new on a new console. Which is why Halo Infinite was so critical for...
Glad it play last gen games well, otherwise I don't know what is it for.
- play last gen games well
- no new controller features
- no new UI
- no exclusive launch games
- AA batteries
.... SOOOOOO next gen, amazing /s
It just makes it hard to communicate about Xbox as well ... Now I type XBox Series X to refer to the latest XBox, and some people would do XBSX, and then some do XB S|X to refer to this gen's consoles...
But everyone refer Nintendo Switch as "Switch" and "PlayStation 5" as "PS5"... zero confusion.
