Ya, depends on the games, if it is a game that I can't wait then I will still buy it day one. But otherwise I would at least wait for it to drops like $10-20 first.
The game sharing feature helped though, so I just split all digital games 50/50 with my brother, meaning new game cost for me is just $45 CAD, instead of $90.
Well, to be honest, based on history, MS has no idea what they are doing in the gaming industry.
Manage your studios, make good games, no shortcuts.
Things work like that, if we don't think it is the future and don't buy into it, then it won't become the future.
The new generation didn't accept that they don't want cars, the new generation is just lazy.
Would I pay for it if there is one? Yes
I always want the latest stuff, and as I get older, the sooner I want them, too old to keep waiting.
But do I think there is a need for one? No.
Games are releasing way too slow now that you only get a handful of AAA games before another upgrade arrive, it is much cooler when Naughty Dog squeeze out the last bit of PS3 power and made The Last of Us. Or even last batch of SNES games like Chrono Tri...
While Microsoft is preoccupied with the acquisition, it is the Xbox gamers who suffer the most; they should invest that money in developing quality games instead.
PS5 is my main, if a game is available on PS5, I buy it there.
Switch is my secondary, I still buy a lot of games there because there are many exclusives.
XSX is my third, owned it for 1.5 years, I just play whatever is on Gamepass, bought zero games so far, because all third parties I would just buy on PS5, which most of the time runs better, and all first party are free day one, zero reasons to buy anything on XBox, and one day when I sell the console I won't feel like...
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a good game, and Respawn is a good studio, I have high hope of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Are gamers really at the point where they just like to hate on everything and would rather skip an actual good games just because they have to download a patch before starting? If it is not stated on the box, most of you would just wait for the day-one patch to download and never notice this anyways.
I guess that's what human do now, get bothered by t...
I see, TOO MANY games, guess it is a blessing to keep losing these games then, so the amount would be just right. /s
$68.7b Activision Blizzard + $7.5b Bethesda = $76.2b
$76.2b later, XBox gamers gained ZERO new games, and keep losing others, and Xbox gamers are like... Phil is awesome.
They could have make 140 x $500m budget games, and actually benefit XBox gamers.
If you don't own it, and still haven't played it since it was included in PS Plus, you don't really want to play it anyways, no need to pretend you care.
Still haven't got it right?
Right now I clamp my phone on a PS5 controller, then I can do both PS remote play and Gamepass cloud gaming. Cheaper setup that can do more, I don't see a point of streaming only handheld.
If dedicated handheld, I don't think there will be enough games.
Strongly disagree, handheld is just play the same games with weaker hardware, smaller screen and less comfortable controller.
While VR you are doing something completely different, gameplay that no flat screen can ever gives you.
Sad, feels like it would have been a very good PSVR2 title.
I felt like they never push this game hard enough marketing wise.
Personally, my biggest wish is for Switch 2 NOT be a SWITCH. I want a Nintendo console as powerful as a PS5.
I am a playstation diehard fan and I don't like this deal, but this is getting a little pathetic. If he has no confidence that he can lead PlayStation if it loses CoD, he needs to resign.
I just did a quick test on PSVR2, for some reasons I feel like things from far away even look worse than before the patch. Almost feels like the eye tracking is implemented and then having a bug so it doesn't know where you are looking at hence everything is blurry.
Hopefully it gets fixed soon
If they can give up on PSVR2 that quickly then I have no confidences that they can support PS Vita 2 properly. So, no, support PSVR2 first, then we talk what comes next.
If that's what people think, then Xbox fans are fk'ed.
