N64 used a cartrige when it should have been using a CD at the time. That severely cut its potential. Same went with the gamecube with that mini disc which is why gamecube games looked worse than ps2 games most of the time. Its a strategy nintendo has been following for years. Cut corners to lower the price and sell faster. That wont change anytime soon because it works.

Knowing nintendo, it is not crazy to think that wii u will have low spec standards since pretty much every nintendo console has been that way and wiis success wont couse them to change that strategy. I dont see wii u having anything special under the hood and with people demanding more and more from technology, that could work against nintendo.
Stocks probably dropped a lot more when wii specs were released. Shows what stockholders know...

This is clearly some sort of mash up between a console and a controller. It doesnt look like a console to me, it looks like a handheld ipad/ds mix. This isnt really a good idea for a home console but its great for the handheld market. Guess nintendo is handhelds only now.

Yeah its cute but you just got to think about who is showing this. Microsoft, who used to be known for manly shooters like halo and gears are now showing off family titles in a sad effort to compete with nintendo. If I were a MS fanboy, I would be really angry at MS right now for changing its identity so much in order to follow nintendo and alienate thier hardcore fans.

Maybe. Ever since MGS 4 stealth games have been taking that route. I dont think it will be done with Hitman though because that would destroy its core gameplay and its identity. Sure you can blast through everything but then you dont unlock anything good. Hitman expects you to use your head to get through unseen and that to me is pretty badass.
As a latin student, I knew what that name meant from the start so im not very impressed with the choice due to lack of creativity. NGP rolls off the tongue more so that is what ill be calling it for a while until I lose my stubborness.
