Is rain even in the full retail copy of the game? I can see some of the roads can be wet but I haven't found any information on pouring rain on the net or youtube.
The_Infected, I felt the same way as you did playing the demo yesterday. The bumper car physics and invisible wall crashes are uterly bad. I'm hoping they can patch it up a bit shortly after the game launches.
The campaign mode and weather omissions are unfortunate as those had been trademarks of the GT series for the past few iterations. Sad to see those features being taken away for this game.
The commercial has no in-game gameplay and the few cars just sit there the entire 30 seconds at the starting grid. Not a great commercial, in my own opinion. I much prefer some actual gameplay footage for gaming conmercial.

FM7 has more than just graphics. It also have the biggest car selections (over 700) of any console racing game in this generation, a real single player campaign mode, dynamic weather, different car classes, does not required the player to always be online to play, native 4K locked 60fps HDR support on the XB1X and yea, the Graphics!! The total package racing game.

I can't wait to see the enhancement on the XB1X. Killer Instinct managed full native 4K and hoping this game gets similiar treatment on the X.

my first console of this generation is actually a PS4 and 80% of my third party games are on my PS4. I bought my XB1 S last year with my 4K TV and realized that non of the current consoles or even the PS4 Pro can take advantage of it like what the XB1X can.

Hardware, is not subjective. XB1X is better. Software can be subjective as people have their preferences.

WOW, and all this time I thought the entire game allows you to race against 19 other cars on the same track is playable in VR with the PSVR. Thanks for the video, as 1vs1 is not what I had expected in the VR mode.

Kribwalker. Those cardboard cutout crowds look like they are recycled from the PS2 era. Not looking too good! But I think PD made the sacrifice of concentrating most of their resources on the cars photo mode and replays.

There are no transitions dynamic weather during race and you have to set up what u want at the option screen before the race. Curious why one of the main features of the past GT games were cut. Very unfortunate. I'll download the demo and give it a spin later on tonight.
It will do extremely well. MS will have the newest, most powerful console capable of playing console games at the highest fidelity and at the highest resolution and the only consoles still with a UHD 4K blu ray drive and BC. The Scorpio launch edition and regular edition are completely sold out at Amazon before launch and already sold more than the PS4 Pro Sku for the entire year to give you a preview of how demanding it is.

Does it matter if you are a console gamer? I owned a XB1 (soon upgrading to the XB1X) and also owned a PS4 Slim and Switch.
I bought Mario Kart 8 deluxe, Zelda, and soon Mario Odyssey for my Switch. I only bought Horizon ZD for my PS4 this year with intention to get GOW4 early next year. My XB1X will be used for all my third party console games along with FM7, Cuphead, and Crackdown 3 early next year.
