While BF2 was a great game (on paper) and I had plenty of hours of fun with it, I think the community was disappointed with the way Dice handled the code for the game. It was easily one of the most poorly programmed games I've ever played, at retail it was totally ridden with bugs, crashes and exploits, same goes for 2142 though not on as much of a large scale.
The final BF2 patch came out last year, that's 1 year over the release date of BF2 and it still isn't fixed.
The original R6 and GR were great, now console gamers have the titles tailored to their style: easy and simplistic.
We want mission planning and no regenerating health systems, R6 was a realistic swat simulator before complete with wounds and realistic damage. Now it's no different from Halo.
2 extra episodes just removes the fact that your console could blow up while playing it? I don't see why anyone would want to play GTA while fearing for their console's life
repetitive gameplay
lack of story
cheesey one-liners
generic characters
Yup, it's a 360 game all right
if you think this is coming to XBLA, sure they've worked on XBLA but that's it. The source engine isn't going to fit on XBLA, the whole game should come to roughly 6GB+ so dream on
but so is the KKK, the obesity epidemic, incest loving rednecks and blind patriotism... it's all wierd
is like walking on your hands: it's uncomfortable and why not walk with your feet? :)
should get these for free like we used to
then you better get a gaming PC, you won't beat mouse and keyboard for maximum control.
says this article is full of crap, sure singleplayer game sales are down because of piracy, but there are more people playing the original counterstrike than there are most new xbox live games.
Explain WHY
and I can spell masterpiece correctly
Xbox live is outdated, PC gamers have been enjoying a better service for free for a decade or more. MS steps in and charges these poor dullards and they accept it as the standard, sure they'll give you the excuse that "we're getting what we pay for! it's worth it!" but is it really worth it?

Accompanied with better controls, graphics, mods and more features, I'm pretty sure it's not dying.
As long as you can mute people it's ok, there's no need for a report system, PC gaming has been great since it began and there's never been any similar problem.
It would be a better game if some perks were removed, I like the perk system but...
Shooting through brick walls (with pistols too no doubt) is something only machine guns should have the ability to do
More bullet damage? someone tell me how that is possible, with willpower?
More health? I would've prefered movement-slowing kevlar personally.

Not to pee anyone off here but if CoD4 was set in America/the U.K while you play as the Iraqi/russian forces attacking America/UK in a FICTIONAL story you people would probably blow a fuse or two and choose not to play it. Don't get me wrong but I've played with the idiots on xbox live, the ones who refuse to play on any team apart from their own country because they're too blind to see what's going on in the real world.
Terrorism sells, if not for the feeling that the player is ...
It's a game made by some of the developers of Battlefield 2 (PC version) which was a fun (but buggy) game. I was really hyped to getting this but after playing the beta it's gone off my list completely. The gameplay is ok but the visuals even on full leave a lot to be desired and look extremely messy, not to mention it plays EXACTLY like BF2 but with no doubt a smaller community.
GTA
LittleBigPlanet
Fable
Sure British devs don't have many top games but the ones they do create are all AAA.
Lets talk about:
a tacky add-on hddvd drive
a new sku with a hdmi port
a larger hard drive
Microsoft is the main culprit when it comes to playing catch up.
