PS3 has beaten 360's first year sales and it's rising, what makes you think the 360 has got such a great lead? Your superior online service was offline for hours also, you get what you pay for I guess.
As for the superior machine, are you kidding me? A 33% failure rate does not make the 360 a good machine of any sort, it's people like you who microsoft takes advantage of, you just let them keep d!cking you until you're out of money.

I feel there is a current trend in modern multiplayer games, gone are the days of skill in accuracy and reflexes and instead a new era of gimmicks are welcomed.
I loved the original CoD game online but after the introduction of regenerating health (something that should've stayed with the Halo newbies on consoles), "critical hits" in Team Fortress 2 and perks in CoD4 it's now easier than ever to get top of the scoreboard in almost any game.

I really don't think rumble is important at all, I won't be buying a dual shock controller when they're released in Europe that's for sure. Unless my walls are crumbling and the ground is shaking in my house, vibration on my hands is not going to simulate a world war for me.
Rumble is optional and not a necessity for modern gaming, having a system which actually works... that's a necessity. I think MS rushed the 360 out for quick sales and it looks like they've reached their p...

33% failure rate means this commercial is lying to the consumer, the word advanced should be used to describe something that is moving forward, not backwards or grinding to a halt.
Co-op kane and lynch is actually quite a good few hours of gameplay, I wouldnt want to play it alone but it's a challenge, people who complained about the aiming system just sucked really bad. Guns have recoil like in the hitman games, this isn't halo for christs sake where spraying at a target 2 miles away can still get kills.
When you think about it, if they're in talks of whether it'll be first or third person you've got to wonder if there's any MGS-style stealth involved at all. So what is this MS? another first person shooter we saw 10 years ago on PC?

PS3 gets the same demos pretty much every week without fail and without the RRoD. As if many PS3 owners care about this game anyway, if you want a stupid macho skinheads console with military shooters aplenty then you need a 360 not a PS3.

PC gaming is easily affordable, even more so than console gaming when you consider the ridiculous prices you have to pay for console games, peripherals and online "services" like xbox live.
The more people like you who just listen to the media without investigating the cost of a PC yourself, the more this silly rumour will be spread around. My PC runs crysis and it costs just over $700
Why would I be jealous that a game with decade old PC gameplay, 2 year old graphics and a weak story outsold a game with great gameplay, great graphics and a good story? I wouldn't because sales get me nothing, I bet bungie are laughing all the way to the bank at you idiots who think Halo is some sort of next-gen masterpiece when we all saw the exact same gameplay in 1998.
