Why would you apologize for something in the story of your own game? It's free reign at that point FFS. If GTA can get away with all of these things then so can you.
You mean make money like Square Enix by selling their games, like every other gaming company? Well then have I got some A advice for you little buddy.

It's always been this way. There weren't that many hardcore gamers even back then in the early arcade days. It's just that back then those were the only games in town so of course you might hear about a biased perspective of "gamers were better players back then".

Hopefully an HD MP trilogy
Stay strong Japan. Don’t take the blood money. You already know what happened all those other times and you don’t need another reminder.
Bingo. It’s not my favorite though, more like bottom of the top. You can’t gauge the reception of this game from Internet forums, as blanket statements run amok making other people feel guilty they like this game. They shouldn’t have to but why would they want to join in and talk about a game they like if there’s such ridiculous hostility. Not including the fact it’s such a small portion of people compared to how many actually bought the game.
Especially with the ff serie...
Agreed. The game has a nice mysterious build up as you travel and interact with the main characters and see how they react to all the places you go to. Their interactions feel very organic. The car rides have an interesting dichotomy in that it’s exciting to be on the lookout for sites you can get out and go wild with as well as listening to what’s going on on the radio/characters as the story progresses. You get the best of both worlds with exploration and story focus in this manner. Th...
As long as those 10 hours aren’t of the FPS variety that plagued the previous gen. We need more games like Super Metroid.
This may be my favorite Sony exclusive. I still go back to it every now and then and still think about the game.
Leave out the grindy part for the main story. Side tough bosses needing to grind? Sure go nuts with that.
I don't think a lot of people realize that publishers have more power than the developer does when it comes to how a game comes out. It's kind of like the same thing when a developer pays its own employees. The publisher pays the developer and the developer is now working for the publisher. The publisher can also chime in creatively if they want to.
Didn’t GTAV reduce violent crime when it came out?
You can’t suppress human animalistic natures. You can only redirect it. Video games may be the best thing for violent crimes and others crimes since forever.
As for porn, that’s been around for eons. High quality and high speed porn is new, but if urges aren’t met one way, they can end up going another.
It’s interesting seeing people in the comments wrestle with their shadow self.
By the time the whole damn thing comes out, a newer better DOA or similar game will be out by then.
No. Only if because Japanese developers will be tempted to take away more resources from console games like they did last gen. They won’t ignore their home country's need for handhelds due to their busy lifestyle. But for the rest of the world, we get less AAA games from them when they do that.

It doesn't matter if you up the difficulty or not. There are games and stories in games that are entertaining enough to keep replaying and rewatching.
If the flow of the story regardless of the medium is paced well enough and you enjoyed it the first time, subsequent replays/rereads/rewatches of it do well.
Or it can take all of your time and money.
Koei Tecmo/Team Ninja may be more the instigator to this looking at the insane DOA DLC prices.
