So I got my shotgun and zombie armor out for no reason? Damn the real world and it's lack of a true zombie apocalypse.
You are a true NT apologist. Their not making money because they can't stay within their budget. NT has big dreams, but the talent and tech they have just doesn't back it up. Them trying to tackle a game like DMC is laughable considering their prior efforts. Whatever obscure game it was they did on the original Xbox, Heavenly Sword, a good game but would never hold the weight of GOW, Ninja Gaiden or, wait for it......Devil May Cry. Enslaved, wow, a boring battle system, a boring platf...
I get what your saying, but cannon says different.
DMC1: Intro to Dante. No time frame, but we get he's awesome and has been at this for a while.
DMC2: Well past the events of DMC1. For some reason Dante is mute. Fans all shed a single tear simultaneously.
DMC3: Well before the events of DMC1 and 2. Young cocky and what I was hoping for future in installments.
DMC4: After all the previous games. Dante takes a backseat bu...
I still blame NT. They had so many other ways to approach this project.
1. Keep the character design but put their own gameplay twist in it.
2. Keep the character design and try and add to an already awesome battle system.
3. turn down the opportunity and let Dante die as an icon.
NT has no one to blame but themselves for this travesty. Any one else would have saw the potential in this character and tried to add to it it, no...
Does it matter? It was a great commercial, and I felt appreciated and had a stroke of nerd. I really don't understand why consumers care about company business.
Do I have to watch it to know this is not DMC? I have a DMC3 poster in my room so I can never accept this "Dante" as the guy who fought Cerberus with a shit eating grin on his face.
Ninja Theory killed one of my favorite characters. And it's because they decided to take him serious.
I like this. considering that they want UC3 to be a TEAM BASED game this omission is ideal. It tells peolple that if you want good stats, be a team player.
I don't think this map was used to get the COD crowd, but rather to show how this game is much different. People will say OP Metro seems like a COD map, but it plays completely different.
What really kills me is how folks act as if this is the game, even if they know vehicles will be present in the retail version.
I personally feel this beta was a success. Obvious fault were on display for all and we (ya'll spit in their face. I'm just happy I know this beta is a fraction of what we'll really get.
Give the dead horse a break. At this point it's starting to feel like rape.
No, you have the right to ask for a DEMO. If you feel so inclined to ask for a beta your asking for any problem that comes with a beta. Ignorance is never a proper defense so going in thinking that a beta is the demo is no one's fault but your own.
I just have to ask, have you actually had a flashlight put in your face in daylight? I can tell you a good one will work whenever. Laser pointer will also work regardless of daylight. I will say they are greatly exaggerated, but it's a fucking video game, get over it.
I have to give an emphatic yes. It seems gamers nowadays feel the beta is the demo which is pretty ass backwards. I really feel devs should axe the idea of open betas considering the public can't seem to grasp the idea of what a betas purpose is. I'll be hurt by their departure, but it seems like what needs to be done since the public at large are idiots.
Rivalries tend to be mutual, so make of that what you will/
I'll believe it when my shit turns purple and taste like rainbow sherbet!
I don't think the writer is trying to say they're one and thee same, but rather they are the bane of the respective genres. While I do feel throws keep a fighter on their feet, it's also something that's quite easily exploitable. To say if you get caught in a throw is no ones fault but your own is a bit ludicrous considering some character that I've mentioned have throws that are unavoidable unless running like a girl is your thing.
I always preferred how Virtual fighter handles the throws. Regardless of the type of throw, you had a viable option of escape. Yes, it was a bit complicated, but you always had an option of evasion, even if the character you were fighting was a grappling expert. I'm still waiting(not a bad movie)for Capcom to implement something similar to SF for their grapple heavy characters.
I think it all boils down to the fact that it does so much damage and at times can be heavily abused. I, personally, only "hate" throws that can't be countered, i.e. Zangief, T.hawk, Hugo and Alex. But i counter my own hate with adapt or die.
Regardless of superiority, console gamers need to learn the meaning of teamwork. No one spot, I've only been rezed a handful of times and I can never find a ammo crate. Can "You People" play game right or has COD made you feel like a one man army?
Smart doesn't sell because people are inherently stupid. The dumber you make a product, the wider the audience becomes for said product. Reality T.V, dumbed down remakes and self help books all prove this. I really do pray for a global plague sometime, but that's totally beside the point.
