Uncharted doesn't look better than gears 2 just because you "THINK" it does. It looks better just from the simple fact that it looks better. If people really think that graphics are something that is simply something that is up to a persons opinion, I could say graphics from the ps1 era are the best and as long as I put IMO at the end of it, I'm entitled to that retarded outlook.
Graphics are quantifiable, Textures, polygons and various special effects are easy to see and be able to come to the conclusion it's better or worst than something it's being compared too. The only part of graphics that are completely subjective is the art-style.
So it would be more like it pretended to sh!t on it and then have it be rendered on screen 3 sec later?
Everything you said to make the argument of SF4 not being a beta is what a beta is.
So did someone disagree with me because the prospect of GOW in the first person was a "great" idea. Sure and Breakdown was the best FPS one Xbox.
And is scored lower, I tend to see a problem. Especially when it's by a margin like this one.
Infinity Ward for all the sh!t they could have done with the sequel isn't giving fans the original game with extra characters and a better parry system(WTF was it called)What this release tells me is that I should have never purchased the original and just waited on something that was never hinted at to begin with. Me being the big fighting game fan (I started with the original sf thank you very much)will buy this, but I know when when no Vaseline is applied to the rape.
but I don't think it was made just so people could celebrate upcoming mediocrity.
My original purchase seems to be a waste of money now seeing as how there releasing a "definitive" version with more characters and a better parry system. Capcom has really taken the piss(I'm from the u.s and can't think of a better term) out of buying their games. The worst part is is, I'm mosy likely gonna get it cause the the parry system(can't remember what it was called.) makes the game a lot more hardcore.
When the original GOW came out we didn'y really have this problem, but it still wouldn't have been a good or even "okay" idea.
He didn't have the final say so.
But all this really just seems to be a bit of a circle jerk, insofar as these two games would just be another two games to add to the the PS3's already impressive line-up of exclusive games. I guess the possibility of quality or lack thereof is totally irrelevant.
Given my disagrees these games were better than I remember and 8 Days really has a shot at being the better game when compared to uncharted 2. I guess a few cg movies and tech work that doesn't involve anything else that makes a game goes along way.
I just have to say gears did not "pioneer" a stop and pop gameplay mechanic. Winback was a very archaic first attempt and it was truly refined by Kill.switch. All Gears did was made it famous by adding copious amounts of blood and a chainsaw.
The Getaway was a mediocre title to begin with (Black Sunday anyone) and Uncharted has gone above and beyond what 8 Days may have done. If these games are still in development, I really don't think they'll have the same impact as they may have had when they were first announced.
2010 seems a bit early to me. Maybe I just don't wanna set myself up for disappointment, but I'm thinking an early 2011 release. I mean we have no idea how far this game is in development. I think most saying 2010 are just trying to bolster the playstation's 2010 line-up.
I can't stress this enough, the playstation brand has never relied on a "killer app". For every game on past ps platforms that could be considered a KA I could name maybe 5 more. "Killer Apps" seems to be something a console lacking diversity would need.
All Sony did was make an ultimatum, and Namco accepted. It's a lot different than having a bucket load of money shoved in your face. Next thing I'll hear from you you is that R* shouldn't have used the 50mil to make The Agent.
I also remember blowing on cartridges in the nes days, doesn't mean I should be doing it almost 20 years later.
All I really want out of XIII is a return to, at the very least, the quality that was apparent in X. I really don't see this being better than VI or seven or IX for that matter.
