I love this beta, although I do have a couple gripes.
1) me and everyone I have talked to HATE the dude bro entrance and exit animations! idk who at 343 thought that was appropriate but it just makes me cringe. I know they are going for the whole "its a training simulation thing" but it takes away from the seriousness of Halo.
2) I know this will not sit well with some but I HATED midship back in the day and I hate the remake. but that's a pre...
I don get why people are trying to zoom with the assault rifle at point blank range... newbs...
is the zoom still click to zoom or do you have to hold a trigger down?
Looks really good. cant wait to get in.
kind of, while you prob wont find a lot of titles under 10 bucks like steam so far they have pretty good discounts for console games which are sometimes hard to come by.
I am actually shocked PES 2015 is discounted since it is seen as more niche and who ever will buy it will buy it at full price compared to the mass marketed FIFA series which will go on sale a lot.
WOW great deal on PES 2015! Lowest ive seen it this holidays. Def pick up this tonight.
I think red and blue just because they are classic. but personally I am having a BLAST playing Omega Ruby due to the fact I never was able to play the original (never owned a GBA). I think this is my favorite and most well done Pokémon to date. and its a remake!
EDIT: I would not say X/Y are the #1 pokemon game. Although its a refreshing change and I love how the game looks because its the new standard for future pokemon games. But I found it to be short, no endgame, an...
cool, will have to pick it up. I owned the weird animal version of risk on 360. I love how this is more normal lol.
I don't care for COD, but destiny is hard to pass up. I have my issues with it but for 20 bucks might be worth trying out.
yeah im done with that noise (pun intended) from the xbox 360 era. I am grateful how quiet and smooth the Xbox One runs.
although the PS4 is surprisingly sleek and awesome, I like the look of xbox one and hope that even when the inevitable slim model comes out it will keep its monolith style cause I think its striking difference between the two consoles.
the size, eh I cleared a whole shelf for it so its all good haha
For me the single player has been amazing, no problems what so ever.
Multiplayer has gotten better despite the doom and gloom articles.
I will admit that there needs to be more fixes, I now can find a match in under 5 minutes but I played 3 games last night before bed and every game on team halo 2 Anniversary playlist it would throw us in with 7 total players so one team was shafted with 3 players against 4 which means usually one person or two quit on that ...
Its been running better for me, at first it took like 10 min to get in a game but after that never more than 2-4 min.
although it did throw my part into 2 team games with only 7 people so that means one team got short handed.
I think its getting better. still some little things to fix though.
@Lecreuset
I am just teasing, and I don't think I was trolling just over exaggerating what the above comments were stating lol.
I am really happy with how Xbox One turned out. it shows a new level of commitment from the Xbox team at Microsoft and I don't think we would of ever got that if Sony didn't beat them over the head this year!
So congrats to MS!
This is why I bought a XBO now! so much halo goodness! its the best time to be a halo fan now!
GO MICROSOFT! great turnaround guys!
FOR HES A JOLLY GOOD FELLOW! FOR HES A JOLLY GOOD FELLOW! FOR HES A JOLLLLLYYYY GOOOOOOD FEEEEELLLLO-O-O-W!
THAT NOBODY CANT DENY!
Goodbye bubbles I hardly knew ye!
I got the assasins creed bundle (even though I badly wanted the SSO bundle but the Microsoft store sold out). I bought Forza Horizon 2 and MCC with it and I gotta say I love FH2! its even easier to get into then the last game and I actually understand the tuning stuff so its just pure enjoyments lol.
I might pick up SSO this black Friday
sheesh I am playing through the halo 2 anniversary campaign and even that by itself is like a 7/10
I know a lot of people are upset over the server issues, but hopefully with this new update sometime this week we can put most these issues to rest AND we can look back at these silly review scores as a reminder of how people went ape sh!7 over a week of issues... HOPEFULLY :P
@mhunterjr
I am very wary about the ground pound, its the only ability that I think will really need the beta to flesh out its kinks. I am really not opposed to just getting rid of it as the rest of the abilities I like.
Although I haven't seen anyone use the slide or charge a lot in the videos...
I think the little turbo thrusts adds a new speed and dimension that multiplayer needed but its not over powered.
All in all that methodical movement and way of playing halo is still there just with a new way of moving around the map and dog fighting thrown in. I cant wait to sink my teeth into the beta!
Looks amazing a perfect blend of new and old, as well as keeping things balanced and fair.
I love this return to more halo 2-3 style play.
I am curios if there will be cloak and overshield pickups on maps as I feel that is a cool part of halo as well.
the one thing I am not a fan of is the whole dude bro lil cutscene in the beginning and end of each match... :| makes me kinda cringe when I see it...
I knew someone would prob say that. yes halo isn't dark or gritty I admit that. but it isn't a complete mockery of itself either. and the fact they are turning Spartans into a bunch of dude bros just takes away in a sense the gravity of the multiplayer imo.
maybe my problem is that halo MP in the sense of its own universe was never a "sport". I understand simulation training but even then that requires it to be taken a little more seriously.
