i was talking about R2 graphically as well,
i just dont like the direction they went with it (both games), it just seems bland to me IMO, even the gameplay doesnt excite me that much. if they pull off 60 players no lag great for them, though im not a fan of HUGE player amounts in FPS but i guess its wahtever floats peoples boats.
the only thing that impresses me with resistance games is how the online has no lag which even though halo is usually buttery smooth, ...
I LOVED GEARS1, well the campaign at least, i hadnt had that much fun with a SP game since halo 1 lol.
but the multiplayer really pissed me off, the conecpt was cool, i didnt mind 4 vs 4 (i wish gears 2 does at least 5vs5 though) but the lag killed gears online, it came down to who had host. and the lobby system for ranked games! WTF! so yeah the host can basically choose whos on his team (taking the best ranked players everytime) yeah thats fair...

how does 60 player MP make resistance the best everz! they compare it to halo, COD4, whatnot, and since it doesnt have better graphics or gameplay... well it has 60 players OMGZORZ its automatically the best FPS EVERZ cause that justifies it lacking in every other department!

and for people that say ITS 60 PLAYER MP... i dont care i think that is too much... i prefer at most 24, but i dont see how 60 players make it the bestest FPS ever...
the graphics are good. but really bland to me, and i didnt really get excited from watching the MP gameplay looked bland as well.
now KZ2 BAM! thats one frickin slick game.
KZ2 right now is the only FPS im interested in putting down halo 3 for. just to check it out. does anybody know how many players online its gonna be?

even though im a devoted to halo and love the 360, i do agree that M$ seems to have a very shabby and cheaply built machine, i mean ive played with the wii and PS3, both are silent and never have any hardware problems. the 360 sounds like its gonna explode at any second, especially mine, and it also has some funky DVD problem (just my problem)

I cant tell whats really true or if something is that big of an accomplishment or not. i just dont care about sales anymore, all i know is all the consoles are doing well.

warcraft 2 was the first game i ever played (grew up watching my dad play doom :P) but yeah starcraft is just really awsome sheesh tons of good memories with that game, the LAN battles were awsome :)

i think halo 3 is the best out now, its just so much fun :) but hey just my opinion. :P
should take notes, (i like halo more than COD4) but instead of making us pay $60 to see the prequal to the halo campaign, just release a 1GB expansion on live,thats at least like 3-5 hours long. i mean that would be frickin sweet.
i mean it would be cool if they could expand the story or universe in the same game wouldnt it! the thing is knowing M$ they will make IW or bungie charge a buttload of money im think 20 bucks...

bungie doesnt do halo 4 till the next xbox. and when that hits it needs to have over the top graphics (thats about the only thing people hated on for halo 3 pretty much WAAAAAH too colorful) and and just needs to have everything and more. anyway halo 3 is awsome ill be playing that. maybe try halo wars when it comes out.
to standing up to the behemoth that is halo, i personally dont like COD4 all that much (my opinion) i love halo 3 more, but credit has to be given.
i really think halo 3 is an excellent game, i think if the graphics were uber realistic like COD4 alot of people would like it more (graphic whores) i see alot of people liking COD4 over halo just based on graphics :S even though i prefer halos flare over COD4's uber realism.

and explosions in gears look a little better to me, IMO they look almost the same, except KZ2 is really dark and grey. but technically i think KZ2 looks better because unless put some awsome physics in Gears2 thats adds to the gameplay like KZ2 had (the bridge being destroyed was uber awsome) the UE3 engine doesnt compare other than looking pretty. hopefully gears 2 has destructible environments that you can use to your advantage. that would make me REALLy impressed with gears graphics. but a...
