@Venom
you need to chill dude... I owned BC2 only on the 360 and it was by far one of the funnest games i have ever played. I am not saying you cant have fun on the console version, all versions will be fun. But to have the option to play 24, 32, 64, or anywhere in between battles is what tips me torwards the PC version and have the better graphics. If you have friends on a console version then i dont look down on you or anyone in your position. if you prefer the console v...
PC all the way for me, the fact that consoles are only gonna have a player cap of 24 is pathetic, i wouldnt be so PO'd about it if they could get it to 32 at least. But 24 players is pathetic to 64
man that means my gtx 570 superclocked should be able to munch on this game pretty well, im so excited!
hasnt LOTR always been mature? i mean sure not with pints of blood out of every sword and arrow blow, but still...
Eh, ill get my japanese war fix from Shogun total war :P
(referring to the guy named CliffB posting) You guys really think cliff would make an account to talk to us? haha... I understand reading post on the site, but for him to make an account to talk back to N4G posters... HAHAHAHAHA... oh man that would be priceless and i just hope he really isn't wasting his time doing that.
Im excited for the Co-op campaign, it sounds like the first total war that you can actual play the turn based part multiplayer... unless im understanding it wrong :S...oh well, ive been a fan of Total war since shogun, this will be epic too like all total wars have been. except Napoleon... I didnt bother with that and stuck with Empire.
the gameplay looks like a mix of halo and COD :P, graphics are good
If i wasnt upgrading my PC to a 2nd gen i5 3.1 ghz and a nvidia gtx 570 with 4 GB of RAM... then i would honestly have no qualms with getting the 360 version as i enjoy playing on the 360 alot, BUT i just wish the player cap was at least 32...
GTX 580 runs around 500 dollars as i can tell. I am settling for a 570 for around 350 dollars. I do have to ask, what is so special about the 590 and what does duel gpu mean? is it as simple as two gpus taped together?
So are these cards gonna be more expensive than the 580? wow... hopefully the 580 drops in price a lil ;)... yes ill keep dreaming :(
I love my xbox too bud, but those graphics were gorgeous... and most likely the PC version...
I think with crysis 2, BF3, shogun total war 2... Things are looking ok :P
@itsralf
... You didnt think about that comment did you?... BakedGoods... I agree...
SW:TOR has my attention over this...
I bought every PGR game and all the geometry wars. I loved Bizzare, I feel bad for not getting around to buying Blur, the demo was fantastic and fun... I wish the best for them.
they have certainly provided much enjoyment...
oh boy, makes me happy i havent bought a single capcom game this gen...
I am guilty of buying EA games though :P at least they seem to be trying occasionally.
on a brighter note i try to stay as far away from activision games as possible... the upcoming bungie game may change that though... DAMN YOU ACTIVISION!!!
Only reason i mention that was cause if i mention reach in a killzone article people will think im saying REACH IS MORE AMAZING THAN KILLZOWNEEEED! Although i prefer halo, it wasnt my intention.
This is the same thing ps3 fanboys did to halo reach, they sit there and ignore the huge improvement to graphics over halo 3 and just go eh more of the same, or its just meh. I am not saying halo reach looks better than killzone 3, im just saying fanboys are stupid and dont give credit where its deserved.
or have an option to turn the gore down or off. i dont see how that would be so hard to put in a game. Gears of war did it, ou turned gore off and when you chainsawed someone sparks flew out instead of blood. I dont see why developers of ultra violent games cant put a feature like that in for the sqeamish (me a lil bit lol) or the people who arent totally into seeing blood and guts squirt everywhere
