Starting to hear from several sources that this thing is using the Nvidia Tegra chip. Probably true. Looks like a very capable chip. We shall soon see. Well, not really that soon.
It's a strong little machine though. Marketed poorly and maybe not the best strategy with the different skus . I never seen one single commercial about the device. Advertising a bit may have helped. I purchased the i3 version, upped the ram to 8gb, and it runs most games on high with no issues. I have a gaming pc, but i got this for my gameroom, so the kids could play there steam games in there, and not have to lug their pcs in there. Worked great for me .
Seems much cheaper to me, not to mention your getting the benefits of a game system too. Just like how Sony did it with DVD in the ps2, and bluray in their ps3.
Bring it on!!!!
The Order? ? No.... at least not for me. Great graphics and all, but that was it for me. I'm still not half way through that game. I just can't get enthralled in it
Looks good!
Well to be fair Tomb Raider has been around a long time. Does look very similar and they probably did get inspiration from uncharted 4's cover.
Exactly. I have a gaming pc but i prefer to game on consoles. It's What I prefer. I do wonder though, with Microsoft and Sony starting to introduce different models, if that's going to make them more like pcs, and less like consoles. Then we may see the one downside of pc gaming, with the driver issues and having multiple updates to get the game right for each configuration. Wait.....we already have that issue with consoles. Lol
I agree. I preferred BF3 much more than BF4
I wouldn't even rate a gem! Lol . I still have fun though, and that's what matters to me.
Having a blast with Warzone Firefight. Nice addition for people like me who such at pvp. Lol
Except cpu tech is moving a lot slower especially when compared to gpu tech.
Indeed. I was very close to buying a LG 65in 4k led, then I read that it didn't support HDR, so I went with Samsung. Hopefully the later models will support both
Samsung here, which supports HDR (I made sure to check before purchase). My main reason for wanting the S is due to the low price of the UHD player. My opinion it's a smart move on MS. Sony did it with dvd in ps2 and bluray in ps3.
I'm getting both probably. I want the slim mainly due to the 4k player inside, and it's price. I'll pick up the "next gen" xbox when it releases mainly for 4k gaming and the leap in visuals .
I thought about getting a xbox S simply for the UHD player. I've got a 4k led, and I'd like to start building my collection of UHDs. It's a very cheap 4k player with the added ability of the Xbox 1, that's why I'm interested. I may wait til Scorpio, but that's a bit of ways off, and my 4k itch is killing me. Lol
Don't agree with this list at all. ROTR was my favorite. Both Dreamcast versions were poor and Tomb Raider Legend wasn't that good imo. I think the original TR (Saturn/PSX) should be in top 3 . I know it's a opinionated list, but i feel after playing most of them on this list, ROTR was the best. Reboot was great too
Good article
Indeed. I will never go crossfire again. I built my pc about 5 years ago and decided to run 2 6870s in CF. Most ran better with one 6870. A few did run better in CF (Witcher2, Amazing Spiderman, Velvet Assassin), but they were few and far between. I'm building another PC later this year and I'm going with one very strong gpu.
I see what they're saying, but who buys a 4k tv and a xbox1 S, and doesn't have Internet? Not happening.
