I actually like my WiiU. I prefer using the pro controller though, unless the game has to utilize the game pad screen. Hopefully the NX is on par spec wise with these upcoming consoles from Sony and MS, which we know little about. If Nintendo had the 3rd party support that Sony or MS had they would probably be leading in console sales, simply because of the strength of their known titles (mario, zelda, metroid, etc). They'd have to revamp their online for sure though
I think sony is being attacked by the media because they really don't need a new system. While I prefer the Xbox brand, it's no secret that the Xbox 1 has struggled to hit 1080p on a lot of 3rd party titles, whereas the ps4 has had no issues doing so. So it seems Microsoft is in more need of a upgraded console, or redo.
Absolutely loved BF2 and BF3! BF4 on the other hand ran like crap on my PC, which was more than capable of running it. I ended up just picking it up on xbox1, yet never really enjoyed it as much as the others.I hope BF5 is as good as BF2, with all the next gen glory!
I think the IPC may be a little weak, but it all depends in the documention, and if they are getting more , and more to improve documentation to run code on these cpus. I think it would be nice if they could get it to around 2.5ghz, but with the heat that may generate it may not be possible. I personally would rather both Sony and Microsoft released a fresh, much more powerful system. I'm not really wanting to invest in a slight upgrade.
I wonder why none of these companies that are in the console business haven't went with Intel? I assume they got a way better price with AMD, but Intel ' s cpus are very good. I myself prefer AMD, just because of what you get for the price, but I'm just surprised that Sony, or Microsoft didn't put a strong intel cpu in their system

Wow. Calm down. It wasn't a knock at this ps4Neo. Fanboy much?? I've heard rumors of a xbox 1.5, or slight upgraded model. I just don't wanna spend the $$ they'll probably ask for a slightly better version, if they go that route. If I buy another console I want it to be significantly better. Same goes if I buy another Playstation. I have a ps4 and I feel the same way there too. Some people are so quick to try to defend their preferred platform that they jump at any comment...
Now if it's a much beefier system I'm all for it. Just as long as it can still play current xbox 1 games. Rather purchase a true step up in hardware performance, instead of some .5 crap.

I want them to be successful. I'd hate to see them reach the same fate as Sega, and exit the hardware market. The more the merrier imo.

I think if they just make this a ps4 that plays 4k blurays , and standard blurays, it would be a good way to gain some potential ps4 gamers who are wanting to adopt the 4k format. It wouldn't piss off a lot of people who already purchased a ps4 either. Sorta like they did with the ps3 and the bluray format.

Well, the generic exclusive games is strictly your opinion .I think the ps4 library of exclusives is lacking right now. The only 2 I like are Bloodborne and Infamous. The Order Looks amazing, But boring as hell to me. I think Microsoft just has the weaker machine and really hurt themselves with their launch. It does seem like there isn't much out there, imo, right now that appeals to me in a major way as far as first party stuff for the ps4. Playing through The Order, and while it's a fantastic looking game, the gameplay feels sluggish, and with little action. I do not like the new killzone. I enjoyed the ps3 KZ much better. So for me, so far, the most appealing game so far on my ps4 is Bloodborne. Just my opinion.
